Day 1 Various locations → → Hangzhou ★ Hangzhou gathering day

All day

Throughout the day, photographers from all over the country will report to designated hotels in Hangzhou (please report "China-TravelNote+name" to check in).

Photographers who arrive early can go to the West Lake on their own, where there are the famous Ten Scenic Spots of the West Lake.

At sunset, you can come to Changqiao Park by the West Lake, where you can see the Leifeng Sunset, one of the top ten sunsets in the world.

Of course, the night view of West Lake is also worth photographing. In the evening, you can visit Hangzhou's famous Hefang Ancient Street and Southern Song Imperial Street and taste Hangzhou's special snacks. Please pay attention to safety during free time.

Day 2 Hangzhou → Oujiang River → Nanxi River

·morning

After breakfast, we will depart for Lishui, the “Hometown of Photography in China”. After about 4 hours, we will arrive at Lishui Dagangtou [Guyan Painting Village] and have lunch (at your own expense).

·afternoon

After dinner, everyone can walk around the ancient town, take some photos and take a break, and then take a boat to Yantou on the opposite bank to take some photos. Yantou is famous for its clusters of ancient camphor trees and a historic three-dimensional water bridge.

At the appropriate time, everyone will gather at the pier and continue to take the boat to the other side to take pictures of the wonderful [Oujiang River Sail Shadow]. China-TravelNote will arrange camera positions for the tourists, set off fireworks and cast nets.

·night

We went to Nanxi River to check in at night and prepared to shoot the [Nanxi River Fishing Fires] the next morning.

Driving distance: about 450 kilometers, about 5.5 hours

Day 3 Nanxi River → Youshan → Xiapu

·morning

We will get up early in the morning and head to the Nanxi River to start photographing the [Nanxi River Fishing Lights] before sunrise. We will arrange for the local fishermen to prepare in advance, and all teammates will follow the leader to find a good angle to shoot. The boats, fishermen, ospreys, and lights will all merge with the mountain shadows. As the sun rises higher, we will continue our journey.

·morning

Afterwards, we went to Youshan Suomian Village to take photos of Suomian. The villagers' usual scene of drying noodles was given poetic inspiration. The slender and long Suomian scattered throughout the village open space became the lens that photographers competed to chase. You can go to the local farmhouse to taste the unique flavor of Suomian (at your own expense).

·afternoon

We then set off for Xiapu, first coming to the east wall to photograph the sunset and the beach scenery illuminated by the sunset glow, as well as scenes of fishermen working.

After the light faded, we finished the shooting and returned to Xiapu to arrange accommodation and rest.

Notice:

In order to facilitate the photography of the sunrise at Mantou Mountain, Xiapu will arrange accommodation at a farmhouse on Mantou Mountain for one of the nights. The rooms are limited, and after the rooms at Mantou Mountain are used up, accommodation at a nearby farmhouse will be arranged based on the order of registration.

Driving distance: about 250 kilometers, about 3.7 hours

Note: Noodles are dried in the sun in Suomian Village unless it's raining. If this doesn't happen, we'll arrange to visit the nearby woodblock printing house for photography, which will also create a captivating film. (Tickets are at your own expense, 10 yuan per person.) In Xiapu, the tour leader reserves the right to adjust the order or locations of photography based on weather, tides, road conditions, and other factors, without reducing the number of photography spots.

Day 4: Kasumigaura full day photo shooting

·morning

In the morning, we went to Beiqi to photograph the sunrise over the sea, the scenery of the mudflats and the fishermen working under the morning glow. Beiqi is a famous sunrise spot in Xiapu, Fujian, attracting a large number of photography enthusiasts. Therefore, China-TravelNote will go there early to ensure a camera spot for every tourist. After taking the sunrise photos, we will return to the hotel for breakfast.

·morning

After breakfast, we set off to shoot at the Shajiang S-bend. Here, bamboo poles line the water, forming a large S-shaped bend through which fishing boats snake. Like rows of soldiers, they defend the sea and protect the fishermen.

·afternoon

In the afternoon, we checked in at the Mantoushan Farmhouse B&B, and then went to Yantian to enter the small fishing village on the sea to take pictures of the Hakka people's cultural customs and oyster hanging scenes. Here we can shoot a group of humanistic blockbusters and record the working scenes of the fishermen one by one.

As the sun sets, we photograph the sunset at Oracle Beach. The gullies carved into the mudflats resemble oracle bone inscriptions, and there are colorful fences on the side. The red sun slowly sets in the distance, casting a shadow on the sea. How magnificent it must be.

After the light faded, we returned to the hotel to rest.

Driving distance: about 50 kilometers, about 1.5 hours

Note: Xiapu boasts one of the most beautiful coastlines in China, with each mudflat surrounded by mountains on three sides. This allows photographers to take advantage of the vantage point to better capture lines and colors. Since the shooting locations are relatively far away, a longer focal length lens is recommended (a 70-300mm focal length is recommended, and a wide-angle lens is also necessary to capture the momentum of the entire sea and mudflats). A tripod is essential for capturing sunrises and sunsets.

Day 5 Xiapu → Yangjiaxi → Mingao

·morning

Get up early and head to Mantou Mountain to photograph the sunrise over the sea. Wait for the sun to rise high, then return to the hotel in time for breakfast and rest.

·morning

We then went to Yangjia Creek for filming. We arranged a smoke scene under the ancient banyan tree. An old She woman was carrying a load on her shoulders, and a grandfather was pulling a cow to help us film the classic "old farmer pulling a cow" scene.

After photographing the old farmer with his cattle, we went to another banyan tree, where a beautiful village girl was herding her flock of geese, running back and forth along a winding cobblestone path. We filmed the village girl herding the geese here.

·afternoon

We'll visit the Ming'ao Rice Terraces at an opportune time. After arranging our accommodations, we'll head to the observation deck to photograph the sunset over the terraces. From our perch, we'll capture the layers of terraces, each a breathtaking sight. After dinner, we'll share our photography and stay at a local farmhouse.

Driving distance: about 250 kilometers, about 4.5 hours

Note: In Yangjiaxi, we will specially arrange grandma and grandpa as models, and place smoke cakes to create an environment for photographers to shoot.

Day 6 Mingao → Linkeng → Xiandu

·morning

We had to get up early in the morning to photograph the spectacular sunrise over Mingao Terraces. Mingao is located in the mountains, and the terraces in spring have plenty of moisture and large temperature differences, providing a very good objective environment for the formation of sea of clouds between the terraces.

·morning

After capturing the sunrise, we returned to the farmhouse for breakfast, then followed our guide into the rice terraces to capture the layers of terraced fields, their lines and shadows, up close. We then descended at the appropriate time, checked out, and returned.

·afternoon

Passing by Linkeng Ancient Village, the buildings here are simple and unique in style. It is a rare place to take pictures of architecture and humanities.

Then we went to the ancient village [Heyang Ancient Residence] with a thousand-year history to take pictures of the representative Hui-style architecture.

After the shooting, we went to [Xiandu Dinghu Peak] in Jinyun, Lishui, arranged accommodation, and then followed the team leader to familiarize ourselves with the shooting location for the next day.

Driving distance: about 160 kilometers, about 3.5 hours

Day 7 Xiandu → Hangzhou ★ Disbandment Day

All day

We got up early in the morning to take pictures of Xiandu Dinghu Peak in the morning mist (arranged an old farmer to lead the cattle and models to pose for photos), and had breakfast after taking the pictures.

After breakfast, we'll return to Hangzhou around 1:00 PM and disperse at Hangzhou East Station (where you can take Metro Line 19 or the bus to the airport, or the subway to the city center, which is very convenient). We believe the tourists have gained a lot from the past few days of traveling and photography, and everyone has worked hard. Let's kiss each other goodbye with tears in our eyes. Don't forget to hand in your homework when you return!

Driving distance: about 230 kilometers, about 3 hours

1. Xiandu Dinghu Peak: A national key scenic spot, characterized by its unique peaks and rocks, picturesque landscapes, and a blend of rural scenery and cultural heritage. The area boasts winding streams, a ten-mile gallery, lush green mountains and clear waters, and a dazzling display of clouds. The area boasts a breathtaking scenery, earning it the reputation of "the wonders of Huangshan, the dangers of Huashan, and the beauty of Guilin." Literati and dignitaries throughout the ages have visited the area, leaving behind countless precious stone carvings. Dinghu Peak is the centerpiece of the entire scenic area and a symbol of Xiandu. Resembling a bamboo shoot, Dinghu Peak pierces the sky, its base covering 2,468 square meters, its summit 710 square meters, and its height of 170.8 meters. It is the world's tallest stone pillar, earning it the title of "the world's No. 2 peak."

2. Oujiang River Sail Shadows: This site is located in Shitang Town, Yunhe County, or Guyan Painting Village. The Lipu Expressway snakes through the village, nestling alongside the mountains and water, while the Lilong Expressway cuts through the mountains and passes through the village. Convenient transportation and unique historical and cultural landscapes blend seamlessly with the natural landscape. Green mountains, weeping willows, camphor trees, and houses nestle in the lake. Fish cages, sailboats, oars, rowboats, village girls, bamboo hats, ducks, and egrets drift across the water, creating a landscape painting of harmony between man and nature. The scenic area boasts numerous bays, winding waters, and stunning mountain scenery, reminiscent of Thousand Island Lake and West Lake. The interplay of sails, villages, shimmering waves, and fishing boats creates a unique and captivating scene. "Fisherwoman," a renowned photographer's work on the fishing scene, was featured on the cover of a United Nations magazine. Oujiang River Sail Shadows is ideal for photography year-round, with the scenery changing dramatically at different times of the year. Winter is highly recommended for capturing the sail shadows amidst the clouds and mist. The shooting range is the Xiaoshun-Shipu Lake section, which is about 15 kilometers long. There is a lot of creative space for sailing against the backdrop of different scenery such as the lake, canyon, countryside, sunrise, sunset, water mist, and pier.

3. Xiapu: Located in the northeastern bay of Fujian Province, the bedrock coastline features prominent headlands, offering breathtaking views from every vantage point. Xiapu's winding coastline creates a vibrant tapestry of bays, islands, harbors, inlets, mudflats, beaches, and seawalls, creating breathtaking scenery in every season. A vibrant green landscape of red fruit trees, reeds, rushes, and water hyacinths graces the waters and harbor, creating a truly smoke-free, dust-free, and healthy marine environment. Seaweeds such as laver, asparagus, green kelp, and kelp abound here, as do shellfish such as oysters, clams, and mussels. Cage-cultured abalone, yellow croaker, and grouper create a vibrant and picturesque scene, showcasing the art of sea farming and cultivation.

4. Ming'ao Rice Terraces: Nestled within the Yongjia Mountains of southern Zhejiang, nestled amidst mountains over 800 meters high, they face the sea to the east. Nestled to the west by the mountains of southern Zhejiang and facing the sea to the east, the moisture from the Pacific Ocean converges on the eastern slopes of the mountains in early summer, creating Ming'ao's location within this abundant moisture. Through over 1,000 years of continuous cultivation, the Ming'ao rice terraces have become a human-carved work of art on the earth. A sweeping view reveals a staircase-like, half-moon-shaped terrace, formed by stepping stones and leveling the earth, following the mountain's contours. These masterpieces, carved with primitive tools, have provided a haven for generations to rest and thrive within these mountains. The Ming'ao Rice Terraces are the largest in Jiangnan, excluding the Yuanyang Rice Terraces in Yunnan. Comprising the Zhengshan and Ming'ao Rice Terraces, they are a designated Terraced Field Photography Base by the China Photographers Association.
