Around 1:30 PM, we arrived at the fairytale town of Xiaoruo Village. Surrounded by the sea on three sides, it initially consisted of a monolithic collection of stone houses. Since residents have painted their homes in a variety of vibrant hues, it's been nicknamed the "Colorful Island." From a distance, each house boasts its own unique hue. Rows and rows of buildings, arranged in a staggered pattern along the mountainside, these vibrant, isolated structures have inadvertently become a viral attraction, a place easily accessible for photoshoots. Feel free to check in, sit down for a cup of coffee, and enjoy the relaxing time.

Around 3:30 PM, we formed a team and climbed Qilin Mountain, the mountain behind Xiaoruo Village. Overlooking Xiaoruo Village, it felt quite like Rio de Janeiro, and the scenery was amazing. From the top, we could see the entire Xiaoruo Village in front of us, and behind us, we could see the rolling mountains and offshore windmills. At the highest point, we could see the vast ocean, a magnificent view of the sea and sky merging into one.

In the evening, watching the sunset and the afterglow, a colorful island floats on the shimmering sea, and twinkling lights flicker in the sea, which is incredibly romantic.

After going down the mountain, when it’s dinner time, you can freely find food in the village’s farm restaurant and look for Shitang delicacies.

After the meal, you can pick up the car and arrive at the hotel to rest in less than half an hour.

Driving time: about 6 hours, with 1-2 service stops

Hiking: 2-3 km walk on the island

Note: Based on actual conditions, the staff may adjust the order of visiting attractions. The itinerary content remains unchanged. Please be advised.

Day 2 Wenling → [Coastal Greenway] → [Dongxia Beach]

·morning

08:00-09:00 Breakfast at the hotel, packing up. It’s time for a full day of itinerary!

Arrive at Dongxia Beach around 9:30-11:00 AM. A coastal landscape painted by nature, the gently unfolding azure coastline. Dongxia Beach boasts pure, fine yellow sand. The sand is clean and soft, and when the tide recedes, a vast expanse of sand stretching over a hundred meters offshore is visible. Stepping onto it barefoot, you feel a delicate and warm touch, like the sea's gentle welcome. The beach here is clean and soft, perfect for barefoot strolls and beach sports. We'll provide volleyballs, soccer balls, frisbees, kites, and other play items for everyone to enjoy.

Around 11:00-11:30, I simply changed clothes, packed up, and set off for the next stop.

Arriving around 12 noon, we had our own meal at the seafood restaurant along the town's street;

PS: The beach under the cave is a tidal beach. In case of high tide, the staff will adjust the itinerary in the morning and afternoon or the day before and after according to the specific low tide time to try to meet everyone's travel needs.

·afternoon

Around 1:00 PM, after lunch, we headed to the popular "Pair of Rings" viewing platform. Named "Pair of Rings," it's composed of two sections, one large and one small. From above, the entire platform resembles a pair of rings! Overlooking the Shitang, surrounded on three sides by the sea, and the winding coastline stretching for dozens of miles, the scenery is breathtaking.

We then headed to the Coastal Greenway, a filming location for countless variety shows and movies. We strolled along the greenway, taking photos and enjoying the scenery. The Coastal Greenway is a coastal highway. On one side, the vast expanse of blue waters stretches as far as the eye can see, while on the other, mountains encircle it. Along the way, the fragrance of flowers, the chirping of birds, and the serene peaks and rocks create a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. There's no need to walk too fast; just strolling along with a group of people, taking in the ever-changing scenery, is truly relaxing.

If you have enough time, there is a small and unpopular pebble beach on the way to the end - [Pearl Bay Beach]. The beach is as its name suggests, the size of a pearl, allowing everyone to pose for photos.

Around 17:30, check in to a hotel near Wenling City

Arrive at the hotel around 18:30 and check in. Enjoy the evening free to find food!

Hiking: Today's light coastal hike requires a certain amount of physical strength: the entire greenway + stairs are about 6 kilometers, with the highest altitude of about 220 meters

Note: According to the actual situation, the staff may adjust the order of visiting attractions, please be advised

Day 3 Millennium Dawn Monument → Wenling → Shanghai

·morning

Around 8:00, after breakfast at the hotel, we took a bus to Changyu Dongtian.

When you step into Changyu Dongtian, you'll marvel at the wisdom and tenacity of the ancients. A vast underground quarry, where the rocks remain untouched and yet offer a diverse array of landscapes for future generations to admire, has been created. The cavernous landscapes, created by the rock removal process, resemble ancient bells, overturned pots, barrel walls, and even giant beasts. Simply let your imagination run wild, and these bizarre landscapes will come alive before your eyes.

Around 12:00, we returned to the starting point.

After lunch, we gathered around 13:00 to return to Shanghai. We arrived in Shanghai at around 19:00 and said goodbye with tears!

Hiking: The scenic trail is about 6 kilometers long, and you can take the scenic shuttle bus at your own expense of 20 yuan

Shitang Town, the first place where the first rays of dawn of the new millennium illuminated mainland China, is known as the Eastern Cape of Good Hope. Located southeast of Wenling City, it is an ancient fishing village and market town, formerly known as Shitangshan. Originally an island, it is recorded in the Taizhou Prefecture Chronicle: "Most ponds are built of mud, with few stone. This particular pond is built of stone, hence the name for the entire island." Shitang has developed a unique townscape. Nestled between the mountains and the sea, the alternating density of stone walls, stone houses, and stone roads, in a staggered arrangement of varying heights and harmonious colors, creates a rhythmic stone town. The contrast between mountains, sea, and stone creates an intriguing scene, earning it the nickname "a town in a painting."
