Manzhouli, China's largest land port, boasts a century-long history. A blend of Chinese, Russian, and Mongolian influences, it's known as the "Window to East Asia." Here stands the majestic Sino-Russian Boundary Marker No. 41. Within and beyond the borders of the country, diverse nations and peoples are nurtured by the same lake. According to statistics, Manzhouli is home to over 20 different ethnic groups.

Day 2 Manchuria → Heishantou
All day
The first day of cycling will be our first border road cycling trip.
We will enter the vast Hulunbuir Grassland, ride in the sunshine of the grassland, watch the cattle and sheep leisurely, eagles flapping their wings, and the poetic and picturesque scene of "the sky is vast and the earth is boundless, the wind blows the grass low and the cattle and sheep are seen" keeps emerging before our eyes.
We'll drive to Heishantou, where endless grasslands flanked the road, and blue skies stretched to the horizon. Heishantou, an ancient city named after the Black Mountain in Ergun City, is a Liao Dynasty site and the fief of Genghis Khan's younger brother. Tonight's Heishantou sunset is a sight not to be missed. Standing on the land of China, we watched the beautiful sun slowly set over Russia, its afterglow illuminating the Ergun River and the entire sky.

Day 3 Heishantou → Shiwei
All day
Today, we'll cycle along the Ergun River, the border between China and Russia, and enter the Ergun River wetlands. We'll also encounter the Hulunbuir Grasslands, considered one of the "world's most beautiful grasslands." We'll continue on to Shiwei, where boundless grasslands stretch on either side, and the sky stretches to the horizon. Shiwei, the birthplace of the Mongolian people, is separated from Russia by a bridge. Standing on the banks of the Ergun River, you can clearly see the villages and people of Russia across the river. Nestled between mountains and rivers, the small town of Shiwei was once named one of China's "Ten Most Charming Towns."

Day 4 Shiwei → Mordaoga
All day
Xishuangbanna lies to the south, and Morgao lies to the north. On day four, we'll enter Morgao, the heart of the Greater Khingan Range's primeval forest. Today, we'll follow a winding dirt road into Morgao's primeval forest. The dense, dappled shadows of the trees create a fairytale-like experience.

Day 5 Mordaoga → Jinhe
All day
Today we continue our forest adventure. After breakfast, we journey through the dense Greater Khingan Range, where the road winds and undulates, flanked by birch and Scots pine trees. Winding rivers occasionally flow through, enriching the rich forest ecosystem. In the afternoon, we continue our journey to Jinhe, a town considered one of China's coldest regions.

Day 6 Jinhe → Mangui
All day
Today we continue our forest adventure. After breakfast, we depart from Jinhe, a town considered one of China's coldest regions. Through the dense Greater Khingan Range, the road winds and turns, with birch and Scots pine trees lining the road, creating a vibrant and harmonious scene. Winding rivers occasionally flow through, providing valuable resources for the rich forest ecosystem. In the afternoon, we continue our journey through a Chinese-style Arc de Triomphe to Mangui.

Day 7 Full Return → → Mohe★Disbandment Day
All day
Today is the last day of cycling.
We were still in Inner Mongolia when we set out in the morning, and in the afternoon we crossed the provincial border, passed through the birch forest of Daxinganling, and arrived in Heilongjiang Province at the northern end of the motherland.
Looking back at the more than 800 kilometers of riding, the scenery was different every day, but it reached its climax today. Continue riding along the heart of the Greater Khingan Mountains forest and head towards Mohe.
Today we will end our wonderful cycling journey on the Sino-Russian border - the Mo-Man Highway, which made us linger. A [celebration banquet] is waiting for everyone.
It is recommended that teammates return one day later. They can go to the northernmost tip of the motherland - [North Pole Village] to explore and find the north, or go to the "Mohe Ballroom" to experience the touching story of the lonely dancer, or go to the Daxinganling May 6th Fire Memorial Hall to learn about the historical forest fire incident that shocked the whole country, commemorate the past, and respect nature.
