Day 1 Across the country → or → Chengdu → Kangding

Depart from Chengdu at 2:00 PM (around 6:00 AM for May Day, Dragon Boat Festival, and National Day trips to avoid traffic). The tour leader will set up a WeChat group in advance to notify the meeting point (usually the Yipintianxia branch of the Green Herald Hotel, but please refer to the tour notification for details) and vehicle information. The drive from Chengdu to Kangding takes approximately 4 hours. Upon arrival, check into your hotel in Kangding. Everyone should rest well and avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and staying up late to reduce the risk of altitude sickness.
Chengdu is a popular tourist city in China. Tourists who arrive early can stroll around Chengdu, rest, and experience the slow life of Chengdu among various snacks and attractions.
Recommended places to visit: Jinli Ancient Street, Wuhou Temple, Kuanzhai Alley, and Chunxi Road, one of the top ten commercial streets in China.
Food recommendation: There are many Chengdu snacks in Jinli and Kuanzhai Alley: Long Chao Shou, Dandan Noodles, Feichangfen, and Maocai.

Day 2 Kangding → Geshi Meadow → Liangchahe Camp → Shangriwuqie Camp

We'll rise early and depart after breakfast, traveling by car to Lao Yulin Village near Kangding City. We'll meet up with the transport team at Geshi Meadow and hike to Riwuqie Valley. The Leduomanyin Glacier lies deep within the Riwuqie Valley. Along the way, we'll pass forests, streams, alpine meadows, and pristine pastures, offering opportunities to admire the beauty of snow-capped mountains. Arrive at the Upper Riwuqie Campsite in the afternoon and set up camp.
Currently, local management regulations are vague. Today's wake-up time will be determined by the team leader's notification and may be relatively early.
Day 3: Hike the Ledomain Glacier
All day
Today is the highlight of the entire activity, and we have arranged a full-day glacier hiking experience.
Under the guidance of the team leader, we first climbed about 250 meters to the [Ledomain Glacier Lake], where the Ledomain Peak stands on its glacier.
After taking photos and checking in, we continued to go up to the end of the glacier. The tour leader will teach everyone how to wear crampons and walk on the glacier correctly.
We will use trekking poles, crampons and other equipment to walk on the glacier and enjoy the rich and diverse glacial landscape. We will return to [Shangriwuqie Camp] in time to enjoy the camp dinner.
Day 4: Tianshang Riwuqie Camp → Geshe Meadow → Chengdu

After breakfast we slowly descended back to Geshi Meadow.
Get on the bus back to Chengdu at Geshi Meadow, arriving in the city around 9-22 pm. It is recommended to book a return flight the next day.
Friends who are staying today can meet for hot pot or cold fish, reminisce about the fun and gossip of the trip, and make plans to travel together next time.
