08:30

After breakfast, drive to Lushan

10:00

After arriving at the Guling Town hotel and stowing our luggage, we embarked on a light-packed hike through Lushan Mountain. We'll explore the boundless beauty of the embroidered Jinxiu Valley, the skybridge where the dragon rescued Zhu Yuanzhang, and the perilous peaks, described by Chairman Mao's poem: "Nature has created a fairy cave, and the boundless beauty lies on the perilous peaks." We'll also visit the flower path, where Bai Juyi inscribed the line: "The fragrance of April fades, and the peach blossoms of the mountain temple begin to bloom." We'll also visit Ruqin Lake, named for its violin-like shape. We'll then reach Guling Town, a bustling town nestled on the mountainside.

12:00

Enjoy lunch at noon, and in the afternoon, visit the Three Treasure Trees, known as "Three Trees in Front of the Temple, One for a Bodhi Tree." The Three Treasure Trees are named after three unique ancient trees: two Cryptomeria japonica and one Ginkgo biloba. These trees, situated before the gate of Huanglong Temple, are known as the "Treasures of the Temple," hence the name. Huanglongtan and Wulongtan, two adjacent ponds, each with its own unique history, are located nearby. Longtan is deep and tranquil. A stream weaves through a canyon shaded by ancient trees, cascading down through a stone formation, a silver waterfall cascading into a deep, dark green pool. Wulongtan's water, in five short, powerful streams, cascades down from the crevices of the boulders, resembling a silver harp. This was also the filming location for the Water Curtain Cave in Journey to the West.

In winter, the falling snow on Mount Lushan is a breathtakingly beautiful poem! If winter snow is a poem from the sky to the earth, then this one is undoubtedly the most poetic and dreamy! The snowy scenery of Mount Lushan in winter is magnificent. From mid-December to mid-March, the snow lasts for four months, earning it the nickname "Winter is Like Jade." Witness the falling snow from Ruqin Lake, the rime at Guling Town, the sea of clouds and snow at Hanpokou, and the icy ridges amidst the green trees and red tiles. Mount Lushan,
also known as Kuangshan or Kuanglu, is located in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. It borders the Yangtze River to the north and Poyang Lake to the south, stretching approximately 25 kilometers from north to south and 20 kilometers from east to west. For thousands of years, countless scholars, celebrities, and patriots have left their mark on the area. The saying, "I cannot see the true face of Mount Lu because I am within it," remains a profound and enduring legacy.
