Arrive at Dangkou Ancient Town, located at the junction of Wuxi, Suzhou, and Changshu. Known as "Little Suzhou" and "Silver Dangkou," it is home to numerous rivers, lakes, small bridges, and flowing water, creating an elegant environment.

The ancient town has a profound cultural heritage and is worth a deep visit. The culture is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. When eating in Dangkou, you will feel the warmth and fragrance of time, the ups and downs, the firewood, rice, oil and salt, and the smell of a bowl of fireworks, which warms countless days and nights.

Arrive at the starting point of Guanzhang Ancient Trail and start our peninsula hike.

The Guanzhang Forest Trail is a mountain and scenic trail that winds along the ridges of the three peaks of Guanzhang. It includes Shengziling, a Taoist holy land, on which stands the thousand-year-old Zhenwu Palace, and beside the temple are historical sites such as the Jianjing.

Continue climbing from Sanguan Peak to Erguan Peak, and then climb to the top of Touguan Peak in one go. This peak is the highest peak in Mashan and was called "the strange peak in the northwest of Taihu Lake" by the ancients.

Standing on the summit, you can see the vast expanse of Taihu Lake and the Lingshan Giant Buddha. Literati and poets throughout the ages have left behind poems and songs after climbing this peak.

Then we went up and down along the ridge line, with the beautiful scenery of Taihu Lake always by our side, which was very refreshing!

The whole journey is on foot along the Taihu Peninsula, and there are many mosquitoes, so please pay attention to insect repellent.
