This monastery is a masterpiece of Portuguese architecture from its heyday, built to commemorate the discovery of the sea route to India. The renowned navigator Vasco da Gama is also buried here.

After breakfast, drive to Sintra, about 30 kilometers from Lisbon, a romantic town that was once the summer palace of the Portuguese royal family.

Visit the Pena National Palace (inside), a colorful palace that blends Gothic, Moorish, Renaissance and other styles. Standing on the top of the mountain like a fairy tale, it is one of the most iconic buildings in Portugal and a World Cultural Heritage.

·afternoon

In the afternoon, we'll drive to Cape Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe. From its craggy cliffs, we'll gaze out over the vast Atlantic Ocean, a breathtaking sight where "the land ends and the ocean begins." The cross and lighthouse stand quietly, creating a paradise for photographers and romantics. Take a photo at the check-in plaque, creating a meaningful commemoration of your trip to Spain and Portugal.

Driving distance: Lisbon - 50km Cabo da Roca - Lisbon

Day 4 Lisbon → Carvoeiro

·morning

After breakfast at the hotel, we began our exploration of downtown Lisbon. Lisbon's rich history is the envy of other cities. The city has preserved its rich traditions, continually restoring and renovating its historic buildings and sculptures. Its medieval streetscapes still remain, making it a perfect place for strolling.

First, we'll head to the Castelo de São Jorge (inside), nestled at the highest point in the Alfama district. From there, you'll overlook the city and the vast Tagus River, offering a breathtaking view of the city's architecture. We'll then wander down the old town's narrow streets and stroll along the City Walk, traversing century-old cobblestone streets and immersing ourselves in the relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere and medieval charm.

After passing several observation decks, you'll come across the Lisbon Cathedral (exterior) on the way, witnessing the church's history since 1147. If you see a yellow tram passing by, it's like a scene straight out of a postcard.

Finally, we arrived at the [Commercial Square] on the banks of the Tagus River. Beneath the magnificent equestrian statue and Arc de Triomphe is Lisbon's most vibrant neighborhood, perfect for free dining and street photography.

·afternoon

After lunch, we will drive south to the Sunshine Coast, change the pace of life, and head to the resort of Carvoeiro in southern Portugal.

Renowned for its magnificent sea caves, sunny beaches, and laid-back lifestyle, the Algarve coastline is known to Europeans as a "hidden Mediterranean paradise." We'll arrange a stay at a resort hotel where you can completely relax under the azure sea and sky, change into your swimsuit, and embrace the slow pace of Portuguese coastal life.

Driving distance: Lisbon - 280km Carvoeiro

Day 5 Carvoeiro → Seville

·morning

After breakfast at the hotel, we embark on a boat trip and explore the Benaji Caves. Sail along the coastline, adorned with bizarre rock formations, and marvel at the wonders of creation: natural caves and the "Eye in the Sky" skylight, shimmering in the sunlight.

But the real thrill is arriving at the Benaji Caves. Their unique structure and pristine beaches have made them a global Instagram sensation, a visual feast not to be missed in Portugal.

Kind tips:

1. The Benagil Caves are greatly affected by the weather. If the wind and waves are strong, you will not be able to enter the caves, or the boat trip will be cancelled directly.

2. The Benagil Cave Boat is very fast (sometimes it may be a speedboat). Please pay attention to personal safety and property safety after boarding the boat. Do not stand up or swing at will, as there is a risk of falling. Do not be careless!

·afternoon

In the afternoon, depart for Seville, Spain. This historic city has endured Spain's triumphs and tribulations. Here, you'll not only experience the rise and fall of Spain through its world-renowned architectural monuments, but also witness the interplay and fusion of Catholic and Islamic faiths in every corner of the city.

Arriving at Seville's Plaza de España, with its brick arcades and painted pottery niches, it showcases the characteristics of various Spanish provinces and is one of the filming locations for "Star Wars" and "Game of Thrones".

We will take you for a stroll along the Gwadar River, passing by the Golden Tower (exterior), which was once a watchtower, and the magnificent Bullring (exterior), where you can experience the collision of Moorish culture and Western chivalry.

Day 6 Seville → Ronda

·morning

Seville was once the capital of the Moorish Empire and the focal point of the Spanish Renaissance. Today's theme is the intersection of royal power and faith—a city tour of Seville.

After breakfast, visit Seville Cathedral (entrance is not included), the world's third-largest Gothic cathedral. Its majestic and magnificent interior is a masterpiece of Catholic faith and Islamic heritage. Christopher Columbus is buried within the cathedral, his coffin carried by four knights, symbolizing the four kingdoms of Spain. The Giralda Tower, located next to the cathedral, was originally a minaret and is now a landmark in Seville, showcasing the city's diverse religious heritage.

Afterwards, you will have free time to wander the old town. We recommend exploring the Andalusian courtyards or the Setas de Sevilla mushroom towers for a panoramic view of the city.

·afternoon

In the afternoon, we will drive to Ronda, a white town that is both romantic and thrilling. This ancient town built on a cliff is famous for its beautiful terrain and long bullfighting tradition.

The New Bridge of Ronda is one of the most photographed buildings in Ronda and even in the whole of Spain, connecting the cliffs on both sides of the new town and the old town. We will also visit the Bullring of Ronda (exterior), known as the "birthplace of modern bullfighting". This 18th-century amphitheater bears witness to the Spanish tradition of blood and courage.

Staying at the Ronda Hotel that night, not only can you enjoy the tranquility of Ronda in the evening and early morning when the tourists disperse, but also the evening is the best time to take photos of the Ronda Gorge and the New Bridge. The white walls and red roofs under the sunlight are particularly charming.

That evening we enjoyed Ronda oxtail stew.

Driving distance: Seville - Ronda 125km

Day 7 Ronda → Granada

·morning

It is recommended to get up early and take a walk on the cliff trails or in the old town. Ronda is particularly quiet and charming in the early morning. The valley in the distance is intertwined with the morning mist, as if you are in a painting.

After breakfast, we will set off for Granada, a city at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, which was once the capital of the Nasrid dynasty and is full of Moorish historical traces.

This small city in southern Spain was once a Moorish territory and the capital of the last Arab kingdom on the Iberian Peninsula. Visit the Alhambra Palace (with guided tour included). Hailed as "Europe's most beautiful Arab palace," the Alhambra, comprised of palaces, courtyards, canals, and gardens, blends the geometric beauty of Islamic architecture with the art of Andalusian horticulture, making it a dazzling jewel of World Cultural Heritage.

Stroll through the [Lion Courtyard], [Mirror Pond], and [Envoys' Hall], and take a closer look at the intricate stained glass windows and carved texts. Every brick and tile records the heyday of Islamic art.

Friendly reminder: The Alhambra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, operates a limited-access policy. Group tickets require reservations, and the approved visit time may differ from your scheduled itinerary. If your reservation is not approved, you will not be able to enter the Alhambra. Your itinerary will be adjusted to include a visit to the Alhambra Gardens and an entry to the Royal Alcazar of Seville. Please note that group tickets require reservations.

·afternoon

We'll then continue our in-depth tour of Granada's city center, heading to the Albayzin district. We'll wander through a maze of medieval alleyways, where whitewashed, red-tiled houses are scattered throughout. This is the most intact neighborhood in Granada left by the Moors. From the observation deck, we'll gaze upon the Alhambra, bathed in the golden afterglow.

Granada is built on the mountainside, and many houses are built into the mountain. Tonight we will take you to a cave to enjoy the unique [Cave Flamenco]. The cave environment creates a unique sound effect, allowing you to focus more on this artistic performance.

Driving distance: Ronda - 180km Granada

Day 8 Granada → Cordoba

All day

Today, we return to the Middle Ages and witness the millennium-long fusion of Christianity and Islam.

After breakfast, depart for Cordoba, one of the three pearls of Andalusia. In the 8th century, the Moors conquered Spain and built approximately 300 mosques in the city. In the 13th century, the Spanish king converted the Grand Mosque into a cathedral, creating a magnificent fusion of Christian and Arab civilizations.

Visit the Córdoba Mosque (inside). A classic example of Islamic architecture, this mosque boasts red and white arches and hundreds of pillars forming a "forest of stone pillars," making it one of the most visually striking religious spaces in the world. Later, it was converted into a Catholic church, creating a unique "mosque + church" coexistence that reflects a historical interpretation of cultural collision and reconciliation.

Afterward, visit Baihua Alley, a small alley adjacent to the mosque, offering the perfect spot for postcard-perfect photos of the flower wall and church tower. Flower pots adorning the white stone walls on every window sill create a fairytale-like experience.

Go to the [Ancient Roman Bridge], which was built in the early 1st century AD. Standing at the south end of the bridge, the mosque on the opposite bank and the ancient bridge complement each other.

If you still have time today, I highly recommend that you take a free stroll in Cordoba and experience the city's landscape.

Driving distance: Granada - 200km Cordoba

Day 9 Cordoba → Toledo → Madrid

All day

After breakfast, we'll depart, crossing the Castilian Plateau and heading north to Toledo, known as the "Soul of Spain." Once the capital of both the Visigothic Kingdom and the Kingdom of Castile, Toledo, a city known for its blend of Islamic, Christian, and Jewish cultures, is considered the "Crossroads of Civilization." Today, we'll journey from this ancient city to a modern metropolis.

Nestled on hills surrounded by the Tagus River, the city's maze of medieval streets, small squares, and stone bridges epitomizes Spanish culture. Strolling through the city, you'll encounter cathedrals, converted mosques, and the remains of synagogues, truly showcasing the coexistence of religions throughout history.

When arriving or departing from Toledo, you'll be invited to visit a viewing platform on the south bank of the Tagus River to capture panoramic views of the city. The sunlit silhouette of the ancient city looks like a scroll preserved in time.

Arrive in Madrid that evening and check into the hotel to rest.

Its towering spires, intertwining stained glass windows, and divinely dreamy interior will leave you breathless with every step.
