Upon arrival at Maowu Village, the team leader will distribute the mountain cleaning equipment and briefly explain the precautions for mountain cleaning before we begin our day's mountain cleaning journey. After a brief warm-up, we'll walk through the village and arrive at the Tianzi Ancient Trail gate. Here, a dense bamboo forest, birdsong, and fragrant flowers create a classic outdoor bamboo forest trail. Along the way, we'll pass by the Gaoshan Tea Plantation and Huangjue Zen Temple.
Arriving at Shandang Village, the bamboo forest and fir forest on both sides of the village road complement each other. There is an open space in Shandang Village for rest. Everyone can take out the dry food they brought and share it. Sitting on the ground, looking at the beautiful scenery and feeling the breeze, the food will definitely be particularly delicious.
After a short rest, we set off for [Gexian Temple]. Along the way, we walked through the bamboo forest, the dirt road was soft, and the road condition was good. On the way, we passed a resting stone, which was the place where Gexian would rest every time he came back from collecting herbs. Many medicinal herbs were found around the stone.
After arriving at Gexian Temple, climb up the dirt steps all the way to the highest point. At a glance, you can see tea fields all over the mountain and a large reservoir overlooking the foot of the mountain.
Then we went down the mountain to Tianzi Zen Temple, where we burned incense and prayed. After that, we slowly walked down the mountain along the bluestone steps, and returned to the village road, where we took a break and replenished supplies.
