Jilongding, known as the "most alluring mountain" in the hiking world, lies at the junction of Xinyi, Gaozhou, and Yangchun. Its main peak reaches 1,280 meters above sea level. Ten thousand acres of alpine meadows stretch across the summit, earning it the reputation of "Western Guangdong's Great Grassland." Every year from late March to late April, Jilongding's alpine rhododendrons reach full bloom, transforming the mountain into a world of flowers.

Locals also call it the Fairy Flower, but its real name is the Cotton Rhododendron. It is said that seven fairies came down to earth and floated to the top of Jilong Mountain to take a bath. Seeing the bare mountain, they took pity on it and with a flick of their sleeves, transformed the clouds in the sky into seven colors of Fairy Flowers, creating this stunning southern beauty.
