Day 1: Across the country → Putian

1. Today is the gathering day. Tourists from all over the country will go to the designated hotels in Putian City on their own and report "China-Travel Note+Name" to check in.

2. Afterwards, you will have free time. We recommend visiting the Xinghua Prefecture Historic District, which boasts six well-preserved streets: Dalu Street, Xianxiang, Houjie, Yahou Road, Miaoqian Road, and Fangxiang. You can also visit the Ancient Watchtower, known as the "Tiananmen Gate of Fujian," and experience the Puxian culture at the Puyang Baigongfang Intangible Cultural Heritage Street.

If you have more time, visit Hanjiang's Luomutian Historical and Cultural District, known as "Little Shanghai." The Republican-era-style building, Dongfang Ershiwukan, comprises 25 red-brick arched arcades and is the setting for the popular Xiaox bookstore. Stroll down Hanjiang Old Street to experience the local life: old-fashioned blacksmith shops, bamboo art shops, and the artistic No. 2 Factory Bookstore remain. The backstreet is also home to the soy milk stir-fry restaurant featured on CCTV's "Three Meals, Four Seasons."

Day 2: Putian City Hotel → Pier → Nanri Island → Yanli Bay → Huangdi Mountain → Crescent Bay → Hotel/B&B

1. In the morning, drive about an hour to Shicheng Wharf. Then, take a boat to Nanri Island (approximately 30 minutes) to enjoy the dancing of seagulls. After dropping off your luggage at your hotel or B&B, enjoy a delicious seafood feast!

Nanri abalone, a product of China's national geographical indication, was featured on CCTV-1's "Three Meals, Four Seasons," and even Sa Beining praised it highly. The sun-dried kelp, first-water seaweed, double-line purple clams, asparagus, running goats, wild sea anemones, red algae, mantis shrimps, crabs, and fish here are all full of Nanri characteristics.

2. After a short rest, we will start playing different games on three beaches in the afternoon: (the order of the itinerary will be adjusted according to the tide)

Yanli Bay is named after the beach, which resembles a swallow's wings. The beach is flat and has small waves, clear water, and soft sand. During low tide, you can go fishing and occasionally see islanders fishing with nets.

Emperor Mountain isn't really a mountain, but a vast, 2-kilometer-long sandy beach, with a stretch of fine sand forming a steep desert "wall." Enjoy a sandboarding session facing the ocean and revisit the simple joys of childhood!

Crescent Bay is located to the west of Nanri Island. In the evening, the flowing sand is like gold, the sea and sky are radiant, and the beauty of the sunset windmill array on the sea is not inferior to Pingtan.

Recommended night trips: Experience the tranquility and art of the island library at the B&B, or head to Fubao Beach for a beach concert and a bonfire barbecue and beer.

Day 3 Nanri Island B&B/Hotel → Sun and Moon Rock → Nanri Pier → Wenjia Pier → Meizhou Island Pier → Hotel → Tianfei Hometown → Ewei Shenshi Garden → Meizhou Island Hotel

1. In the morning, go to [Kujong Mountain] and climb to the top of Sun Moon Rock (about 1 hour). This is the highest point of Nanri Island, where you can overlook the windmills on the island and walk along the wooden plank road to see the fishing rafts on the sea.

2. Take the 10:30 am boat to Wenjia Wharf (approximately 1 hour drive), then board a luxury ferry to Meizhou Island (approximately 15 minutes). Drop your luggage at the hotel and you're ready to go!

3. After a free lunch, proceed to the [Hometown of Tianfei] (approximately 1.5 hours). Follow CCTV's "China in Intangible Cultural Heritage" to learn about the Mei women's clothing: "Sailboat head, sea skirt, red and black pants for peace."

4. At around 4:00 PM, head to the southeastern tip of Meizhou Island for the Ewei Shenshi Garden, a rare sea erosion landform formed by wind and sea for over 130 million years, the Feiji Cave. The water is clear, the sand is fine, and you can also catch a sunset at sea.

In the evening, you can freely explore the island town center for local snacks and stroll along the Lianchi'ao Beach.

Day 4 Meizhou Island Hotel → Mazu Temple → Rainbow Road → Putian Wharf → Putian High-Speed ​​Railway Station

In the morning, visit the Mazu Ancestral Temple (approximately 1.5 hours): This is the ancestral temple of over 5,000 Mazu temples worldwide and the "Eastern Mecca" venerated by nearly 200 million believers worldwide. Explore the "Prince's Hall," "Ascension Historic Site," "Tianhou Palace," "Chaotian Pavilion," "Ascension Tower," "Tianfei Palace," and "Shunji Hall." Climb the mountain path, passing the coastal plank road, to the highest point of Meizhou Island, overlooking the Taiwan Strait with a giant Mazu statue. Explore exhibits showcasing Mazu beliefs, ritual instruments, and more, to gain a comprehensive understanding of how this "Goddess of the Sea" rose to the position of consort, becoming one of the world's earliest women's rights pioneers.

2. Then head to Meizhou Island Rainbow Road (approximately 1 hour). You can hike near the Meiyu Chaoyin scenic area or ride a shared electric scooter to the North Ring Road (1.3 km).

2. After lunch, take the boat out of the island. The shuttle service starts at around 13:00 and arrives at Putian Station around 14:00. Please book a train after 15:00 (Putian trains go to various destinations). You can fly to Fuzhou/Quanzhou Airport (1 hour by train). It is recommended to allow at least 2 hours.

Meizhou Island is known as the "Penglai of the South". It has more than 30 scenic spots, including the breathtaking Meiyu tide sound, the "Hawaii of the East" Jiubaolan golden beach, the "Little Stone Forest" Goosetail Rock, etc. It also has the Mazu Ancestral Temple, which is worshipped by 200 million Mazu believers. During the period of Mazu's birthday on the 23rd day of the third lunar month and Mazu's ascension day on the 9th day of the ninth lunar month every year, pilgrimage tourism is unprecedentedly prosperous, and it is known as the "Mecca of the East".

Nanri Island, the largest island in Putian and the third largest in Fujian Province, is known as the "Pearl of the Orient" and a "Sea Paradise." Its 66.4-kilometer coastline is dotted with beaches of varying sizes, and spectacular windmills dot the mountain ridges and the sea.
