The ancient town has a thousand-year-old wharf culture and many ancient architectural ruins. Experience the grand occasion of Zhou Dunyi, the founder of Neo-Confucianism in the Song Dynasty, giving lectures at the Lianxi Temple. From the observation deck, appreciate the inspiration of Wu Daozi, the Tang Dynasty painter, who painted the Jialing River panorama. Or, take a leisurely hike up Longjiao Mountain to see the scenery of the small town nestled between the mountains and the water.
Take a slow stroll through Sima Xiangru Ancient City, where the story of Sima Xiangru, a great poet and writer, took place.
