We arrived at Meizhu Ancient Village in Xinchang around 11:30 AM. First, we took a stroll through the magnificent sunflower fields.

Hungry! Time to put on some weight! The thousand-year-old Meizhu Ancient Village is home to many Ming, Qing, and Republican-era buildings, as well as numerous intangible cultural heritage shops: shiban (a type of traditional Chinese food), paper-cutting, fermented rice-steamed bread, and handmade tofu. We strolled through the village and enjoyed a hearty meal. After all, good food is the ultimate expression of respect for hiking.

Around 2:00 PM, we'll gather for the Big Buddha Temple, built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and home to the last surviving examples of early rock-cut cave sculptures in southern China. Along the way, we'll experience the stunning beauty and exquisiteness of the Thousand Buddha Temple, the Reclining Buddha Hall, the Prajna Valley, the Ten Thousand Buddha Pagoda, and other Buddhist sculptures, along with ancient rock-cut caves and cascading waterfalls. This truly captivating route offers a truly captivating experience.

This is also the filming location for more than ten TV dramas and movies such as "Zhou Sheng Ru Gu", "Lotus Tower" and "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils". It has both the gracefulness of Jiangnan mountains and rivers and the heroism of the world of martial arts. The yellow walls of the temple, the red dust and the world, and the dream of Farewell to Xizhou, you can take pictures as you go along, and everywhere is a holy place for filming!

Around 5:30 PM, we returned to our starting point and headed to South Street for a bite to eat. Xinchang is a snack kingdom, and the aroma of delicacies like lamb bones and fried tofu fills the streets. The thin-skinned buns, topped with a delicate egg, are crispy yet not hard. For those who enjoy a sour taste, dip them in Xinchang's specialty, rose rice vinegar. Grilled rice cakes and sizzling noodles are also Xinchang specialties. Tourists, fill your stomachs! Let's eat to your heart's content!
