Picking up leaves with friends in the park! 🍂

What to pick up?
Anything that's fallen on the ground.
Keep your head down, bend over, and keep your eyes open.
There are no restrictions, pick up anything big or small.

What to do while picking leaves?
Leaf sorting, leaf skewers, leaf painting, leaf bookmarks...

What to keep in mind when picking leaves?
Bring a small bag/basket/cup, and wear comfortable walking shoes.
Don't eat the fruit you find easily; be
careful of scratches from branches and leaves, and beware of mosquito bites.

You can also bring your favorite food and share it with others. Have
a picnic in the botanical garden, play Frisbee or UNO together... Enjoy a relaxing afternoon in the sunshine.
Join us while the leaves are still falling!

1:00-1:15 PM for check
-in. 1:15-1:30 PM. Groups of 3-5 people will be divided into groups. Feel free to use the "Shape and Color" app or scan with WeChat to better identify plants while picking leaves.
1:30-2:40 PM Autumn at the Shanghai Botanical Garden is now online! Set off in small groups for a free exploration of the botanical gardens. It's recommended that you bring a small basket or paper cup for easy leaf picking. From
2:40 PM to 3:20 PM, groups will return to the starting point to view their individual leaf picking results. Led by the group leader, you'll create a leaf bookmark and leaf collage to bring home some of the autumn colors. From
3:20 PM to 4:00 PM, you'll have a picnic on the lawn and are free to disperse. You can also meet up with your friends for the next leaf picking session.
