Day 1 Chengdu → Lao Miyaluo Village → Buller Ranch → Chengdu

We will gather at the meeting point at around 7:00 am and set off for Miyaluo Town, Li County. We will take a short break along
the way in Li County, Wenchuan. The team leader will explain the detailed route conditions, the precautions for using the equipment, and the analysis and confirmation of the route.
10:30
Around 10:30-11:00 am, we took a local transfer bus in Miyaluo Town. After passing the road control checkpoint and filing again, we drove all the way to the foot of the giant prayer flag tower.
11:00
After simply packing up, walk about 3km along the village's mechanized farming road to reach the Buller Ranch.
Every June, locals bring their families to the ranch's Wusangtai to dance and pray.
From here, continue up along the ridgeline, through the jungle and layers of meadow platforms. To our right is the nearby Culang Snow Mountain. The small-leaved rhododendrons behind us seem to tell the story of the red leaves and colorful forests that cover the mountains of Miyaluo in autumn.
3:00 PM
At around 2:45 pm, we reached a mountaintop at 4,300 meters. From here, the Sanggerbo meadow in the distance and the Miyaluo village at the foot of the mountain seemed to be so different.
No matter where we went, we had to start descending at 3:05 pm.
6:00 PM
After returning to the bus stop, take the bus back to Chengdu city and disperse at the Cultural Palace subway station around 10 pm.
Notes:
1. This route takes a long time and is quite strenuous, so the return trip will be very late. Please do not sign up if you mind.
2. Since there are many participants, not all of them may be in good condition at the time. Please fully understand those who walk slower, as we all have grown step by step.
3. If there is heavy snow on the road, the team leader may decide to abandon the summit attempt based on the on-site conditions, and the highest altitude you can reach is 4000 meters or lower.
Wenma Expressway road closure situation:
Taoping Station will allow vehicles heading to Maerkang from 10:00 to 14:30.
From 15:30 to 20:00, Xuecheng Station will allow vehicles heading to Wenchuan to pass.
Traffic control in both directions from Taoping to Xuecheng from 20:00 to 10:00
Control period: July 28, 2025 - September 30, 2025
The bus must return to the Buller Ranch before 6:20 PM. Otherwise, it may be blocked from the highway and unable to return to Chengdu (the national highway is too narrow for the bus to pass).
