After arriving at Huishan Ancient Town, we had some free time to explore and start eating.
Huishan Ancient Town is located at the foot of the Xihui Mountains, on the banks of the Jiangnan Grand Canal. Enclosed by Xiuzhang Street, Qinyuan Street, and the upper and lower ponds of the Sitangjing River, it is one of the first provincial-level historical and cultural districts in Jiangsu Province, with Huishan Old Street designated a "Famous Historical and Cultural Street of China." No entrance fee is required, and a tour of Huishan Ancient Town is expected to take two hours.
If you wish to visit smaller attractions within the ancient town (Jichang Garden, Xihui Park, Huishan Temple, the Second Spring Under Heaven, etc.), you will need to purchase your own tickets. Please arrange your own time.

Take a bus to Yuantouzhu (please tick the box when placing your ticket order), the journey takes about half an hour
In order to better appreciate the seagulls, we boarded a cruise ship that goes between Yuantouzhu Cruise Terminal and Taihu Fairy Island Terminal. At the cruise terminal, large flocks of seagulls will surround the cruise ship. Taking pictures on the first floor of the cruise ship is more textured. The seats, stern, and railings are all good angles. There is no obstruction on the second floor of the cruise ship, the view is wider, and you can get close to the seagulls.
The sunset and seagulls at Yuantouzhu are absolutely stunning! I highly recommend taking a boat tour!
Please note: Seagulls are unpredictable, so tourists are advised to watch with a calm mind.
