Arrive at the starting point and refresh before embarking on today's hike
. The hike will pass through the Chishan Red Sandstone, Chishan Blockhouse, and Chishan Ancient Temple, among other scenic spots.
The Chishan Red Sandstone: Formed by a volcanic eruption three million years ago, it's a truly stunning sight and considered the closest red stone valley to Nanjing.
The Chishan Blockhouse: This landmark building on Chishan was once the site of the Chishan Battle, where the New Fourth Army fought against the Japanese "mopping-up" campaign in Chishan, just outside Nanjing .
Although Chishan is not high, we'll explore the wild trails, enjoying the thrill of hiking. We'll encounter wild vegetation along the way, so please wear durable, scratch-resistant clothing and gloves to fully enjoy the outdoors.
Find a suitable lunch before descending the mountain.

Meet the bus and depart for Chishan Lake Wetland Park.
1:30 PM
Arrive at the wetland park and relax and enjoy the scenery. It is a bird watching spot and one of the sources of the Qinhuai River. You can take photos, check in and take a walk freely here.
3:30 PM
Meet up with the bus and return to Nanjing.
4:30 PM
Return to the starting point in Nanjing, ending a day of relaxing outdoor travel.
