At around 10 a.m., after arriving at the starting point of the hike, we walked along the winding mountain path all the way to Lenggacuo. After crossing the last 4,660-meter pass, the huge mountain of Gongga Snow Mountain, the king of Sichuan Mountains, appeared before your eyes.

Around 1 p.m., we slowly walked down the gravel slope to the side of Lenggacuo. There was a small shop here where we could take a break or buy some lunch. We started hiking down the mountain before 3 p.m.

Facing the main peak of Gongga, we walked down and took a bus to [Bangmujid Village] at the foot of the mountain to stay at Shangmuju;

Settled in the secluded mountain village late at night, enjoying the simple life under the snow-capped mountains, everyone is advised to keep warm and have a good rest

Around 10:00 AM, after a quick pickup at a local villager's house, we began our hike to Gonggar Temple. The trail winds along the mountainside, surrounded by lush, primeval forest. Tall trees shade the sky, seeming to block out the hustle and bustle of the outside world. After about 4.5 kilometers, the main peak of Gonggar Temple gradually emerged. The round trip to Gonggar Temple is about 11 kilometers, with an ascent of about 500 meters, reaching a peak elevation of 3,750 meters. 4th Tianzimei Village → Bawanghai Crossing → Parking Lot → Chengdu

All day

After breakfast at around 7:30 in the morning, we started our last day of hiking.

Following the mechanized farming roads dug by the locals and crossing simple wooden bridges, we arrived at Bawanghai on the south side of Gongga.

The braided rivers, winding around the branches of the dead trees, look like blue gems against the backdrop of the mountains and forests.

After wading through several small streams, we crossed the dense alpine forest and arrived at the parking lot, where our car was waiting.

[Note]: Due to the long journey on that day, the arrival time in Chengdu is approximately after 20:00 in the evening. Please prepare appropriate meals to avoid inconvenience on the way. The group will disband at [Chengdu South Railway Station Subway Station]. It is recommended to purchase transportation after 22:00 or the next day. Due to the possibility of traffic jams on holidays, it is recommended to return the next day.

Driving time: 7 hours

Hiking: The crossing line is 18km long, with mostly flat roads and gentle descents, with a small amount of small climbs, and a 300m drop in altitude.

Gongga Snow Mountain, the main peak of the Great Snow Mountain Range in the Hengduan Mountains, is 7,556 meters above sea level and is the highest snow mountain in Sichuan.

Because it is located in the Muya area, it is also called "Muya Gongga Snow Mountain".

Mount Gongga's main peak has four main ridges: the northwest ridge, northeast ridge, southwest ridge, and southeast ridge. The Gongga Mountain area is also a high-peak concentration area in the Hengduan Mountain Range, with more than 20 peaks over 6,000 meters above sea level clustered nearby.

There are about 45 glaciers in the mountainous area, covering an area of 290 square kilometers.

Lenggacuo is one of the high mountain lakes very close to the main peak of Gongga, with a straight-line distance of 23 kilometers and an altitude of 4,550 meters.

A major feature is that in the early morning when the weather is good, the lake water is like a mirror, and the main peak of Gongga can be reflected on the lake surface.

Moreover, Lenggacuo is located southwest of the main peak of Gongga, which is a good angle for watching and photographing the Gongga sunset and Gongga starry sky.
