【Temple of Poseidon】

This is a holy place of religious worship for Balinese residents, floating in the turbulent Indian Ocean. When the tide is high, the sea water will flood the reefs, and the rocks will be surrounded by the sea. The entire temple is isolated from the land and stands alone in the sea. It is only connected to the land at low tide. Residents come here to pray for the safety of the islanders for generations to come.

Uluwatu Lover's Cliff

Located at the southern tip of Bali, it's considered a love sanctuary because of a legend about a young couple who fell in love but were thwarted by their parents, so they jumped into the sea to commit suicide. Couples visiting Bali often take photos here, hoping for a beautiful and long-lasting love. When you arrive at Lover's Cliff, be mindful of your attire: knee-length skirts or pants, or short-sleeved shirts. Free sarongs are available at the entrance to the cliff for your convenience. After entering the scenic area, there's a long corridor where playful monkeys will occasionally greet you. Be mindful of any jewelry and accessories you have; remember to remove them and hide them so the monkeys don't take them away. Arriving at the edge of Lover's Cliff, you'll be struck by the dramatic waves, which resemble the Twelve Apostles cliffs of Australia.

Day 4 Full day free at leisure

丨Recommended free time itinerary

Penida Island:
This hidden island, accessible by speedboat in just 40 minutes, offers strikingly different scenery from its east and west coasts. On the west side, you'll want to visit Kelingking Beach, where jagged cliffs resemble a dinosaur's back and white sands crescent-shaped into the azure sea. On the east side, Diamond Beach, with its crystal-clear waters and natural arches, is a diving paradise. It's recommended to explore the island over two days. Because the roads around the island are bumpy, a 4WD vehicle with a local driver is recommended. Popular spots like the Tree House and Angel Baths require a steep hike, so wear sneakers and bring plenty of water.

Day 5 Free day at leisure

[Lovina]
This hidden gem in northern Bali is renowned for its early morning dolphin watching. Take a spider boat out to sea at 5:30 AM. As the sun breaks the surface, pods of dolphins prance alongside the boat. Experience horseback riding on the volcanic black sand beach, where the volcanic rock formations reveal their unique textures at low tide. In the afternoon, visit Banjar Hot Springs and relax in the sulphur pools surrounded by coconut trees. July and August offer calmer weather and a 90% success rate for dolphin watching. We recommend staying in a beachfront guesthouse to avoid waking up early the next day. Nearby attractions like Gitgit Waterfall and the Ulu Hen Temple can be combined into a day trip, and don't forget to take photos at the Twin Lakes Viewpoint along the way.
