Gathering at Changchun Longjia Airport
Children come from all over the country and upon arrival in Guiyang, they will be met at the airport and safely escorted to the hotel, with counselors to assist with the process.
It is recommended that you book a flight or train for your child arriving at Changchun Longjia Airport before 2:00 PM.
Take an air-conditioned tourist bus to Erdaobaihe at 2:30 PM and check in at the hotel.
Warm reminder
Children aged 5 or above but under 18 travelling alone can apply for the Unaccompanied Children and Youth Service (the service is provided by the airline and is free of charge). They will be cared for by a dedicated person throughout the entire journey until they are picked up by relatives or friends. Each airline has a quota, ranging from 3 to 8 places. During winter and summer vacations and holidays, there are more applicants, so you need to apply earlier. Places are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is recommended to book in advance.
1. Applications for unaccompanied minors must be submitted in advance. Parents or guardians must bring valid identification documents for themselves and the child. Applications are only accepted by the airline's direct ticketing department.
2. Unaccompanied minors must be accompanied to the boarding location by their parents or guardians, and the name, address and contact number of the pick-up person must be provided.
3. Boarding Procedure: Domestic flights must apply 24 hours before departure, while international flights must apply 48 hours before departure. Arrive at the airport at least two hours before departure and check in at the designated counter. You will be met by a staff member who will accompany your child to boarding. The person dropping off your child should check flight status and leave 30 minutes after departure to avoid flight changes and potential difficulties locating the parent. Your child's pick-up person will arrive at the designated location at the destination airport on time to meet your child. Staff will verify your pick-up person's information and, once verified, will hand your child over to the pick-up person. The service is complete.

Drive to the Changbai Mountain North Scenic Area (a Class A nature reserve and a United Nations Man and Biosphere Reserve).
Transfer to the scenic area's eco-friendly bus and head to the Changbai Mountain Peak, enjoying the pristine forest scenery along the way.
Core Experience: Depending on weather conditions, ascend to the north slope to view Tianchi Lake, China's highest and largest crater lake. (If weather conditions prevent access, relocate to a private campsite or the Pumice Forest scenic area.)
Learning Enroute: Professional instructors explain the formation of Changbai Mountain's volcanic landforms and provide guidance in observing the unique vertical vegetation zones (such as the alpine tundra and birch forests), allowing you to experience this ecological wonder.

Proceed to the Changbai Mountain organic ginseng planting base (Changbai Mountain is recognized as the core production area of authentic ginseng).
Hands-on Experience: Wearing gloves and using a small hoe, you'll dig fresh ginseng with your own hands under the guidance of a local farmer or teacher (you can take your harvest home as a souvenir).
Knowledge Class: Learn about the origins of ginseng's nickname, "King of Herbs," its long growth cycle (typically 5-6 years or more), and its precious medicinal value and cultural significance.

Go deep into the core area of the Changbai Mountain volcanic ruins - Baihe Gorge, and do a geological hike.

You will also collect typical volcanic rock specimens (such as basalt and volcanic breccia) by hand. The instructor will provide on-site guidance on identifying rock characteristics and their formation processes.

At a private campsite far from light pollution, observe the pristine starry sky of Changbai Mountain with a professional astronomical telescope (weather permitting, as few stars will be visible around the 15th day of the lunar calendar).
The instructor, taking into account the local geographical environment, will use a laser pointer to point at the night sky, helping students identify iconic stars such as the Big Dipper, Vega, and Altair.
Day 4 Hotel → Nongfu Spring Factory → Forest Adventure Park → Hotel
