Exit Gongzhufen Station (Exit A) and walk 200 meters north to the meeting point. Meet at the entrance of Xinxing Hotel, sign in and board the bus. Depart for Kalaqin Banner.

Arrive at Kalaqin Banner and check in to the hotel for rest. (Actual check-in time may be later than expected)
Day 2 Kalaqin Banner → Daqingshan → Kalaqin Banner

After breakfast, we will depart for Daqingshan.

Arriving at the Daqingshan hiking starting point, our leader led a warm-up before we began our hike. As we continued along the winding path, the view opened up to a vast meadow as we gradually gained altitude. In the distance, herds of cattle and sheep grazed leisurely, creating a tranquil and peaceful pastoral scene.
Enjoy lunch at a chosen place at noon.
After lunch, we continued our walk through a sparse forest and meadow dotted with unusual rocks. The rocks here were in all shapes and sizes: some resembled turtles, others elephants, and even mushrooms, a sight that made one marvel at nature's uncanny craftsmanship. Under the sunlight, the rocks shone with a unique radiance, as if imbued with life. Standing beside the rocks, we overlooked the vast landscape. The rolling hills in the distance contrasted beautifully with the blue sky and white clouds, creating a breathtaking scene.

Drive back to Kalaqin Banner Hotel.
7:00 PM
Arrive at the hotel, check in, have dinner and rest.
Day 3 Kalaqin Banner → Maojingba National Forest Park → Beijing

After breakfast, depart for Maojingba National Forest Park.

Arrive at Maojingba National Forest Park and take the scenic shuttle bus to the starting point for your hike along the plank path. In midsummer, the alpine meadows of Maojingba Forest Park resemble the wilderness of the Scottish Highlands, with wildflowers blooming everywhere.

From the gate of the scenic area, take a bus to Kalaqin Banner for lunch, and then take a bus back to Beijing.
