Day 1 Hanzhong Station → Caving Camp → Qianlong Cave → Caving Camp → Hanzhong Station
10:00
Tourists of all ages must arrive at Hanzhong Station before 10:00 AM and will be picked up by a special car. They will then be taken to Hanzhong City, where they can enjoy local Hanzhong delicacies such as vegetable tofu, hot rice noodles, and walnut buns (included in the price).
11:00
Head to the beautiful and mysterious Xiaonanhai, enjoying the scenery of the Qinling Mountains along the way. The drive takes about 1 hour, and you will arrive at the "To the Clouds" starry sky camp. You will receive and wear professional equipment, and professional coaches will remind you of the ecological environment protection code and cave exploration precautions, etc., and make preparations before entering the cave.
12:00
Head to Qianlong Cave, an enhanced technical cave. Located deep within the Bashan Mountains of Hanzhong, Qianlong Cave is a hidden gem known as the "Shaanxi Geographical Wonder." It's a masterpiece of nature's eons of geological evolution, and it's the natural wonder we'll explore today.
War Relic Wall: The entrance to Qianlong Cave isn't an ordinary cave, but a stone wall interwoven with mottled walls and vines. Bullet marks can still be seen in the cracks of the wall, proving it was a "natural fortress" for villagers to escape the turmoil of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. The wall is a man-made fortification, its stones fitting seamlessly into the mountain, a testament to the vicissitudes of history.
A palace-like dome: Deeper into the cave, a palace-like dome gradually unfolds. Layers of stalactites hang like palace chandeliers, while stone curtains and stalagmites intertwine to form a "Thousand Buddha Pagoda" landscape, echoing the Buddhist cultural relics of the Tang Dynasty. It feels like you're in a mysterious underground palace.
Sticky Mud Zone: Several meters long, the cave features a sticky mud zone formed by groundwater flowing through rock layers and dissolving mineral deposits. Crossing this mud zone is a test of both physical strength and endurance, while also offering a unique experience, as if one were "touched by dragon energy."
Terraced Calcified Pools: After the mud area, you'll find a series of cascading "small pools." The water is crystal clear, and the walls are covered in a milky-yellow calcified layer, resembling miniature terraced fields. This is the result of millions of years of water depositing calcium carbonate. Touching the calcified membrane on the pool walls feels like touching frozen time.
Rope climbing steep slope: There are two steep slopes of nearly 60 degrees in the cave, like the inclined back of a "dragon body". Visitors must grab the fixed ropes on the rock wall and climb up step by step on the carved stone pits to experience a thrilling adventure. When you reach the top of the slope and look back, you can feel the sense of accomplishment brought by the adventure.
3:40 PM
After the caving, we will return to the camp to shower, change clothes, and enjoy afternoon tea. Ginger and jujube tea, soy milk, corn, sweet potato, steamed buns, watermelon, etc. are provided. You can take a break and replenish your energy.
Then we experienced tree climbing, ladder climbing and other activities in the camp.
5:00 PM
The return trip to the high-speed railway station will take about 1 hour and arrive at Hanzhong Station around 18:00. It is recommended to book a train after 18:30.
We bid farewell here with reluctance and hope to meet again in the tourist world!
