After arriving at Anjizhang Village and briefly retiring, our guide set off on time for our hike to Changpu Valley. The valley, with its dense forests, numerous unusual peaks and rocks, broken stone walls, and winding streams running through it, is a fantastic hiking destination in Anji County. Throughout the hike, we encountered the occasional waterfall, the occasional pool of water, the mountains covered with lush bamboo, the crystal-clear stream, the rustling of fallen leaves underfoot, and the endless mountains in the distance, breathing in the uniquely fresh air of the mountain forest.

There are four waterfalls in the valley: Aowu Waterfall, Lady Waterfall, Guniu Waterfall, and Silver Pillar Waterfall, and the four waterfalls are less than one kilometer apart.
A concave waterfall juts out from the roof of the house, about two meters in diameter. The entire house is over a hundred meters long and over ninety meters high, forming a circular arc. Water flows down from the vent, creating the waterfall. Below the waterfall is a fifty-square-meter agate pond, its depth unfathomable, surrounded by verdant grass. In the sunlight, the waters are a brilliant blue. Below the agate pond is the Lady Waterfall, elegant and graceful, like a graceful lady. Below the Lady Waterfall is another pond, the Lady Pond, which appears abundant and, together with the Lady Waterfall beside it, creates the scene of a beautiful woman dressing herself. Further below is the Guniu Waterfall, where a large rock resembling a cow forms the name of the waterfall.

After May 2025, the locations of the 2nd and 3rd waterfalls will be used by a private contractor to build a cafe. Entrance fees will be charged. The China-TravelNote through-trip price is only 15 yuan, which will be collected on the way out. Please be advised

Arriving at the end of the hike, the bus had been waiting for us for a long time, so we boarded and headed back to Shanghai.

Arriving at the departure point in Shanghai, everyone said goodbye with tears in their eyes and made plans for the next outdoor trip!
