【Light Hiking · Comeback】
In Shangyu area, Shanxi River is also called Cao'e River. There is a mountain on the east bank of Cao'e River, which is named "Dongshan" because it is located in the eastern part of the ancient Kuaiji County. It is a famous mountain in Yuezhong, an important post station on the ancient Tang Poetry Road in eastern Zhejiang, and the birthplace of the idiom "Dongshan Comeback".
The entire Dongshan Ancient Trail is about 7km long. We set off at the entrance of the Dongshan Ancient Trail, passing through Yinmachuan, Yaosiqian Village, Shidong Bridge and other places, and finally arrived at the National Day Zen Temple to enjoy the beauty of Dongshan.
In autumn, a stone path connects Guoqing Temple and Xie An's Tomb, surrounded by forests and ginkgo, redwood, and camphor trees. The ginkgo and redwood trees are at their most beautiful, shading the surrounding temples and creating a quaint and tranquil atmosphere.

【Explore Shangyu】
After foraging in the city, we headed to the Zhongxin Art Museum, a non-state-owned museum located in Shangyu District, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. Its classical Chinese garden-style architecture exudes a strong Jiangnan atmosphere, with each window in the courtyard serving as a natural picture frame.
After exiting the museum, we walked a few minutes to the New Shangyu Museum, Shangyu's "cultural living room." From the Yue Kiln celadon display to the Shangyu Millennium Architecture exhibition, the four major exhibits each have their own merits. We also took a break indoors.
We then proceeded to the Chinese Filial Piety Garden, themed around the culture of filial piety and centered around the touching story of Yu Shun and Cao E, a renowned example of filial piety in ancient China. We then explored the Dashun Temple, one of the park's core buildings. Rebuilt in commemoration of Yu Shun, the ancestor of Chinese morality, it boasts a majestic and ancient atmosphere. We also explored the Prajna Temple and visited the Shun Farming Group Sculpture, which vividly depicts important events and legends from Yu Shun's life through sculptures and stone carvings.
Finally we came to Jixiang Pavilion to see the super shocking bionic mecha elephant Zhuangzhuang, which is 20 meters long, 13 meters high and weighs 43 tons.
