Meet and sign in at Exit 3B of Jiazhou Road Station on Metro Line 3 at 7:20 (look for the staff holding the yellow China-TravelNote flag), and depart on time at 7:30;
Of course, self-introduction is indispensable on the bus. We refuse to let the boring and unfamiliar travel happen. The China-TravelNote staff will lead everyone to play games on the bus as part of the journey so that you can fully integrate into the whole activity itinerary.
10:00
Arriving at Fangshan Scenic Area, this place was known as "Hangao" in the Han Dynasty, "Little Zhongnan Mountain" in the Tang Dynasty, and even more so as "Ebantang, Little Emei". When we stand at the foot of the mountain and look up, we can feel the majestic momentum of the Shu Mountain in southern Sichuan. The temple hidden among the towering trees is even more amazing. The Buddhist hall buildings from the mountain gate to the top of the mountain form a central axis. The temple built in the Tang Dynasty has both the momentum of being built on Fangshan and the charm of being built by the Yangtze River. Climbing up to the main hall, we can overlook the mountain scenery and the Yangtze River that nourishes Luzhou year after year. The main hall also contains a treasure - the black-faced Guanyin statue known as the "Treasure of the Mountain". This treasure is carved from a single piece of ebony, and its dark face and solemn posture are particularly rare.
Note: The walking tour takes about 3.5 hours. You can go up and down the mountain by yourself. You can take the scenic area cable car at your own expense.
12:30
Drive down the mountain to [Shanhuashan Dahongyan], and have lunch nearby along the way. The drive takes about 1 hour to reach the destination.
2:00 PM
Walk through the bamboo forest and into the rock cave, where you can see the cascading waterfall and the mountain scenery in the distance. The red rock makes this place even more picturesque and you can feel the natural magnificence.
Note: Please pay attention to safety during the tour, take photos and check in, and avoid going to the edge of danger;
3:00 PM
After visiting Dahongyan, return to the vehicle and take a 1-hour bus ride to Xilouba.
Known as the "Hometown of Chinese Oil-Paper Umbrellas," this area boasts numerous ancient buildings, most of which are wooden. Strolling through its streets is a truly insightful experience. Old-fashioned blacksmith shops, simple barbershops, and time-honored noodle shops evoke the flavor of bygone times.
After traditional craftsmanship using wood, aged bamboo, and umbrella paper, an exquisite oil-paper umbrella is created. The process is both pleasing to the eye and therapeutic. There are factories that produce oil-paper umbrellas, where you can tour the production process and purchase your favorite one from a wide variety of oil-paper umbrellas.
6:30 PM
After the tour, return by bus;
9:00 PM
Arrived in Chongqing to end this trip, looking forward to seeing you next time.
