We set out to circle the ancient canal, starting from Zijin Square of Nanchan Temple, passing Yangyaowan Bridge, Huaigu Bridge, Tingzi Bridge, Gaodun Bridge, Gongyun Bridge, Jiangjian Park and Nanchan Temple subway station.
Enjoy Wuxi's nightscape along the way. Dusk drifts across the ancient canal, and the light strips along both banks gradually illuminate, outlining the gentle contours of the green tiles and white walls. A cruise ship passes, the sound of oars shattering the golden light on the river surface. Tourists whisper on the covered bridges along the shore, and warm lights filter through the wooden window frames of shops on both sides. The evening breeze, carrying the freshness of the water, sweeps across the docks festooned with red lanterns, transforming the night of the thousand-year-old canal into a flowing ink painting of the Jiangnan region.
Note: This trip is approximately 8.3 kilometers, with no climbing, and you can descend at any time!
