Best Congee Spot in Tsim Sha Tsui! : Master Congee

Every time I pass by the Tsim Sha Tsui branch of Master Congee, it’s always packed.
This time, I happened to be in Jordan for some errands, saw there wasn’t a line, and immediately went in to enjoy my favorite — youtiao (Chinese fried dough).

This branch is much more spacious compared to the one in Tsim Sha Tsui.

The youtiao was crispy and flavorful, and the sesame ball (jian dui) was huge!
I also ordered the lean pork congee — the pork slices were thick and tender, so different from what I usually get on the mainland.

A must-try is their cheong fun (rice noodle rolls). They’re super springy with generous fillings.
Today, I finally tasted what real, fragrant, silky-smooth rice rolls should be — and it was right here at Master Congee.
