📍 REXKL Review
I visited REXKL in downtown Kuala Lumpur 🎬✨ Originally a theater, it was renovated and now operates as a multi-cultural space. The exterior retains its vintage feel, but inside, the retro and modern vibes blend together, creating a unique atmosphere.
The interior is filled with small bookstores, cafes, bars, restaurants, and galleries, making it a fun place to explore. 📚☕️🍸 Each floor has a different atmosphere, so just walking around and exploring made time fly by. The artistic installations and graffiti here and there made for great photo opportunities. 📸
On weekends, flea markets, exhibitions, and performances were held, making it a vibrant spot for both locals and travelers. The food court area, in particular, offers a variety of international cuisines, making it fun to share different menus with friends. 🍜🍕
On a downside, it can get quite crowded during peak hours, and the limited seating can make it difficult to find a comfortable seat. Also, due to the building's unique design, it can feel a bit hot in places other than the cool cafe area. 🌀 Still, overall, it was a charming place to experience a unique cultural experience in Kuala Lumpur.
👉🏻 Overall, it's a place that "reinvented an old theater into a new lifestyle space," making it the perfect stop for sightseeing, photography, and a meal all in one. 🙆🏻♀️
