Who moved the Jiangnan water town to the north? Turns out it's Baiyangdian!

Girls, I recently discovered a hidden gem for travel—Baiyangdian! It's literally the Jiangnan water town of the north. Here’s my overnight-curated travel guide!

The Dragon Boat Festival holiday is coming soon! Gather your friends and family to enjoy the spring breeze on the lake and the joy of reed marshes during this blooming season!
Just a 2-hour drive from Tianjin ➡ Baiyangdian, it’s the perfect spot for a family outing~

🛥 Unique Boat Dining
Baiyangdian specialties: We booked the 398 yuan luxury yacht dining package with Sister Shan, which includes 2 hours of private boat rental and 8 signature dishes, plus unlimited drinks, water, and staples—super cost-effective!
🥙 Signature dishes: Mixed grain four delicacies, oily salted duck eggs, fish-flavored shredded pork, crayfish, fried small fish, and iron-pot stewed freshly caught carp—so flavorful and tender, with no fishy taste. Kids and elders loved it! The smoked loach was absolutely amazing—plump, firm, and addictive. I even ate 2 steamed buns with it~
🚤 Boat ride: Elders with mobility issues thought they couldn’t join, but the boat was very stable with a flat boarding area, making it easy for them. The yacht was spacious and super comfortable.
Once we set off, the gentle breeze and views of reed marshes on both sides were incredibly relaxing. We even spotted many waterbirds along the way, and if lucky, you might see cormorants fishing 🐟.

🎯 Fun Activities
🏍 Jet Skiing: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I experienced the speed and thrill of riding a jet ski here—so exhilarating! With professional instructors guiding and escorting, I felt completely safe. Even 12-year-old Xuan and 67-year-old Grandpa tried it, not just riding but also doing 360° spins and splashing... absolutely thrilling!
🏎 Water Cars: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Perfect for 4 people (great for the whole family), full of screams throughout the ride. With Ferrari-like power and DJ music, the experience was next level!!
Cruising along 40 km of waterways, weaving through reed marshes while enjoying the unique wetland scenery.

📷 100% Photo-Worthy
Every shot on the boat turned out amazing. The owner even stopped at scenic spots for group photos. During activities, the coaches helped us capture the moments—super, super photogenic!

💡 Super Practical Tips
1. Bring an extra set of clothes—useful for photos and water activities.
2. Pack waterproof anti-slip shoes (safe and won’t get wet).
3. Apply sunscreen and mosquito repellent in advance—there are lots of mosquitoes, especially near reed marshes.
4. Catch the sunset "orange sea"—by 17:30, the orange sky and lake merge into one~

Who would’ve thought? Munching on crayfish while watching the sunset over the shimmering waves—this kind of joy is addictive! Baiyangdian’s limited-edition water romance left our whole family with beautiful memories.
