🇯🇵Hokkaido - Asahikawa Zoo

Asahikawa Zoo is located in a higher location in Hokkaido, about two hours' drive away.
There are many kinds of animals in it, which is perfect for bringing children and the whole family to play.
When we went there, the lion had just given birth to three cubs three months ago, and they were all very cute.
From mid-December to March, you can watch penguins walking around. We went in early December, so we couldn't see them.
There are several restaurants in the zoo, so you don't have to worry about going hungry. The food quality is good.
If you want to buy souvenirs, I recommend the store next to the polar bear, which has some special souvenirs.
The zoo is not very big, but if you want to see all the animals, it is recommended to spend 3 hours.
