Complete Guide to Bali's Regional Characteristics

#SoutheastAsiaTravel #Bali

Still haven't decided where to go in Bali?👀
This one post covers all the major areas of Bali👇🏻

Bali is three times the size of Jeju Island,
If you're planning a trip to Bali, it's very important to choose your area
based on your travel style and schedule✨

🏄 Near the Airport (West) | Canggu, Seminyak, Kuta
The first thing that comes to mind when you think of 'Bali'—the holy land of beach clubs and surfing!
This area is about 30 minutes to 1 hour from Denpasar Airport,
the most lively place with trendy restaurants, accommodations, and party hotspots🍾
💡 Great for surfing, but the waves are high, so swimming in the sea is difficult!

🍸 Near the Airport (East) | Sanur, Nusa Dua
If the west side of Bali is a hotspot for young people,
Sanur and Nusa Dua on the east side have a more family-friendly and
calm atmosphere with beach clubs and resorts❤️
💡 Many Europeans actually settle here after retirement!

🌺 South Bali | Jimbaran, Uluwatu
Home to Bali’s most beautiful cliffside coastal views🌅
Luxury resorts line the coastal cliffs,
and the famous Uluwatu Temple with its sunset views is located here!
💡 You can see the most beautiful sea colors in Bali here!

🌴 Central Bali | Ubud
Known for its vast terraced rice fields, lush jungles, and valleys,
Ubud is the epitome of greenery.
Before Canggu, it was a gathering place for digital nomads and artists,
and is famous for eco-tourism and cultural tourism🖌️
💡 About 1.5 hours from the airport, over 2 hours from West Bali!

🌋 Northern Inland | Kintamani, Batur
Famous for volcanoes, hot springs, and large lakes!
Most people visit on tours while staying in Ubud,
but if I ever go back to Bali, I’d want to stay here for quiet healing!
Watching the sunrise from the mountain top is a must❤️

🐠 East Bali | Amed
Still not well known to many tourists,
and even if known, it’s far from the airport so fewer tourists visit!
If you want to enjoy snorkeling and diving in Bali’s sea,
or want to enjoy peaceful nature, this is the recommended area🙌🏻

🐬 North Bali | Lovina, Menjangan
Famous for dolphin tours and snorkeling tours!
It has been known to Westerners for a long time,
but many Koreans still don’t know about it👀
Like Amed, it’s quite far, so there are far fewer people!

💡 One TIP!
The west and south of Bali have high waves, making snorkeling difficult!
If you want to snorkel on the main island of Bali,
I recommend the northern Menjangan or eastern Amed areas❤️
⏰ About 3-4 hours from the airport

With so many places to visit in Bali, how can you go just once?🥹
Which area will you visit next time in Bali?💛
