The story of the Ramayana spreads across an entire wall—a vividly colorful brushwork narrates the world of mythology.
In the corridor surrounding the Silver Pagoda within the royal palace, beautiful and delicate murals are painted, depicting the Cambodian myth "Ramayana" (locally known as Reamker) over a length of more than 600 meters. These murals were created in the early 20th century, using traditional Khmer artistic techniques and colors, showcasing the advanced skills of the craftsmen of that time. Each scene of the story intricately portrays gods and heroes, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the legendary world while viewing the murals.
