The prang of Wat Arun

Today, I had the opportunity to pay my respects at Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchaworamahawihan (Wat Arun, for short), a major destination in Bangkok. Both Thais and foreigners alike dress in traditional Thai clothing to take photos.

Wat Arun is located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River in the Bangkok Yai district. Its highlight is its stunning prang, decorated with exquisite tilework.
