🏨 Bangkok Sofitel Sukhumvit, a review of my staycation with Platinum privileges ✨

#Ho-cation

I stayed at the Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit this time. I originally booked a Luxury King Room, but thanks to my Accor Platinum status, I was upgraded to a Luxury King Club Millésime Room. The room was slightly larger than the previous one (4-5 square meters), and the coffee machine and bathtub layout were noticeably different. Check-in was at 2:00 PM at the Club Lounge on the 31st floor, and check-out was generous until 3:00 PM.

After check-out, I was able to use the facilities, so I relaxed by the pool on the 9th floor and even showered in the change room in front of the fitness center after my workout. 🏊♀️ The pool itself was about 1.2 meters deep, and there were plenty of sunbeds, giving it a truly relaxing feel.

The Club Millésime Lounge offers afternoon tea at 2:00 PM and cocktail happy hour at 5:00 PM. While the drinks were decent, the finger food selection was a bit limited, which was disappointing. Still, the lounge view and atmosphere were quite satisfying. 🍸

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its direct access to the BTS on the third floor. It's a safe walk to Nana and Asok stations, and Terminal 21 is also within walking distance, making it a perfect fit for our last day of travel. Thanks to its accessibility and convenience, it was a great place to enjoy a proper staycation in Bangkok.
