Willy's Rock, a small sanctuary in the middle of the sea in Boracay

While walking along the beaches of Boracay in the Philippines, you'll come across a small rocky islet in the shallow waters in front of Station 1 of White Beach. This is Willy's Rock.

Atop the rock stands a statue of the Virgin Mary, making it a symbol of faith for locals and a popular photo spot for travelers. During high tide, the water reaches waist level, but during low tide, you can easily walk to the rock.

The view of White Beach from the rock is impressive, and the sight of people pausing to pray or take photos adds to the sacred yet touristic atmosphere of the place.

Willy's Rock is a perfect spot to pause while strolling along Boracay Beach and is naturally included in the White Beach walking route.
