A quiet temple

#June Travel Support Fund
Taejongsa, a quiet temple in the forest of Taejongdae, Yeongdo, Busan, is a meditation space that suits calmness rather than splendor. As you walk along the lush forest path, the noise of the city disappears and only the calm scenery remains. Founded in 1976, this place is not large, but the neat main hall, Daeungjeon, and Sanshin Pavilion come together to let you feel the tranquility of Buddhist tradition.

The stone steps and forest path leading from the temple entrance calm and purify your mind as you walk. The sea view around you is not large, but the deep and wide sea and sky of Yeongdo come to you like a painting. Thanks to this, you can feel sufficient leisure and healing even during an outing in the city.

The area around Taejongsa is also famous for the hydrangeas that bloom in June and July every year, so it is especially recommended for those who want to enjoy flowers, the sea, and the forest all at once in a quiet temple.
