Hello! Today, I want to introduce you to one of the most memorable places I visited during my trip to Okinawa: American Village. I never imagined there could be such an American-like space in Japan!

📍 Where is American Village located?

American Village is situated in Chatan, central Okinawa. It’s about a 40-minute drive from Naha Airport, and renting a car makes it convenient and easy to explore freely.

🛍️ What makes it so special?

1. Streets that exude an American vibe
From the building exteriors to the signs and street designs, it feels like you’ve stepped into a Florida beach town. The scenery during sunset is truly picturesque!

2. A paradise for shopping and foodies
Depot Island: Packed with unique boutiques and souvenir shops!
There are plenty of dining options, including American-style burger joints, Hawaiian cafes, and Japanese izakayas.
Don’t miss Starbucks and Blue Seal Ice Cream (Okinawa’s iconic ice cream) as must-visit spots.

3. Ferris wheel and photo spots
The iconic Ferris wheel of American Village lights up beautifully at night. It’s the perfect place to capture stunning photos 📸.
