Khao Soi Kradong, a popular restaurant in Chiang Mai 🔥

🍜 Khao Soi "Yook Samai" is a restaurant in a house next to a temple that's been open for several years. Recently, it's become a frequent sight among tourists, as they've recently started making Khao Soi. The striking feature of the storefront is the display of freshly boiled Khao Soi, ready to be boiled and the pork cooked fresh. The presentation is truly impressive, with every bowl served in a winnowing basket, arranged with garnishes on lotus leaves and bamboo cylinders. The presentation deserves a 10. If you come around lunchtime, you might have to find a seat, as it can get very crowded. Besides Khao Soi, they also offer stir-fried basil with rice, fried pork with rice, beef panang curry with rice, shrimp paste fried rice, and braised pork belly with rice.

📸 Prices may be a bit high, but for tourists, this presentation is worth it. Drinks can be ordered separately at the counter. Popular favorites include passion fruit juice and Thai tea, served in stylish banana leaf cups.
