Ho Kham Mae Fah Luang Garden...a beautiful cultural and arts park

This review, I will take art lovers to see another beautiful and shady art park. It also collects Lanna folk art from each province and is not very well known. It is Ho Kham at Mae Fah Luang Farm, Chiang Rai Province. Normally, photography is not allowed inside, so people may not have seen the beauty inside through online media. However, thanks to the kindness of the officers, this time they allowed me to take pictures to invite everyone. Let's go see it.

Hor Kham was built by northern craftsmen to 'pay respect to Mae Fah Luang' in 1984. It is built entirely of wood with ancient wedges and tenons. In the center is an important Buddha image, 'Phra Phra To', a Shan Buddha image carved from a single piece of golden teak wood that is over 300 years old. It is surrounded by Satthapan, candlesticks, and ancient Lanna Tung, separated by province, so we can clearly see the different cultures. However, the candlesticks are very unique and beautiful. (These candlesticks are made of wood, so they are not commonly used nowadays for safety reasons.) The building is very beautiful. The surrounding area is shady and there is a large pond. And other buildings such as the Glass Hall, the Small Hall, along with many art objects spread over a large area of ​​more than 150 rai.

For those who love Lanna art, I recommend finding an opportunity to visit. This area has a lot of cultural value. The officers said that before Covid, it was popular with European tourists, but not many Thais knew about it. If you have the chance to visit Chiang Rai, this is another place I would like you to try to visit.
