Linh Ung Pagoda is located in Son Tra, north of Da Nang, Vietnam.
The highlight of Linh Ung Pagoda is the white Guanyin statue, which is 67 meters high and 35 meters wide at the base. It is carved from white marble and sits on a lotus pedestal, facing the
sea and back to the mountain.
According to the beliefs of the people of Da Nang in Vietnam, this Guanyin statue was built to protect the city from nature because Da Nang is a city by the sea and is prone to frequent storms.
Inside the temple, there are many trees providing shade and decorated with
bonsai. Around the temple, there are various temples and statues of various deities. This spot is also a viewpoint where you can see the beautiful city of Da Nang.
Most people come to pray for health and
business and ask for children.
