Another World in Southeast Asia – A Review of the Ba Na Hills Itinerary in Da Nang

The most unique day of my trip to Da Nang was undoubtedly the visit to Ba Na Hills. It was a special course where I could experience both the European vibe and the fun of a theme park in Southeast Asia.

We departed from downtown Da Nang at 8 a.m. and arrived about an hour later. From the entrance, we took a cable car to the top, and the view of the sea and mountains was breathtaking.

The first thing that caught my eye was the 'Golden Bridge.' The massive hands holding up the bridge were mysterious, and combined with the surrounding clouds, it was truly a spectacular sight. It was also a perfect spot for taking photos.

Next came the French-style village, which was meticulously designed to resemble an actual city, complete with a cathedral, fountain square, and European-style streets. Street performances were held, and just walking through the atmosphere filled with music was healing in itself.

For lunch, we enjoyed a buffet inside Ba Na Hills, offering a mix of local and Western dishes. After the meal, we moved to the Sun World amusement area, where we leisurely spent time enjoying simple rides like the carousel and indoor attractions.

Around 4 p.m., we took the cable car back down, slowly taking in the sunset-drenched scenery of Da Nang. Although it was a short day, the itinerary fulfilled everything from nature and culture to entertainment. For those who want to walk through Europe in Southeast Asia, Ba Na Hills is a highly recommended destination.
