This renowned restaurant, hailed as the "originator of Daegu rice and broth," is a local legend, featured on numerous Korean television programs.

The beef bone broth, simmered for a long time, is clear yet rich and smooth. Paired with the tender beef blood and firm beef, one sip instantly warms the heart.

Whether it's early morning or cold, a bowl of Gukil Beef Blood Soup is sure to awaken your taste buds. Although the overall taste of the restaurant was a bit disappointing, it was truly delicious. 😋

Gunwi Restaurant | A 50-year-old restaurant recommended by Daegu locals

This "Gunwi Restaurant" is truly my favorite place on this trip to Daegu. Located next to Gyeongsang Gamyeong Park in Daegu, Gunwi Restaurant (군위식당) is a long-established restaurant with over 50 years of history. Not only has it been a favorite among Daegu residents since childhood, but it has also become a national pilgrimage destination for food lovers after being featured on the YouTube channel of renowned Korean singer Sung Sikyung.

This restaurant is also quite popular on Instagram, with Koreans often checking it out. It's a local delicacy that even locals swear by!

DDODDO Sausage, located on Sausage Street,

Freshly grilled over charcoal, it's crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and juicy with every bite.

Paired with a cold beer, it's a real treat!

The atmosphere is lively and the service is incredibly friendly.

It's the perfect ending to a day's travels.

I can only say that Daegu's sausages are simply different! You'll know after you've tried it.
