Fall in love with Shangri-La, open the door to heaven on earth at Yading

For those who dream of experiencing stunning snow-capped mountains, crystal-clear water, and endless grasslands filled with fresh air and tranquility, I'd like to invite you to Yading Nature Reserve, also known as the "Last Shangri-La on Earth." 🌍 This is one of those places that captivated me from the moment I stepped foot in it.

🚐 A challenging journey

To reach Yading, we had to drive from Daocheng City through winding mountain roads for several hours. However, the journey was filled with stunning views of mountains, grasslands, and small villages, making us forget all about our fatigue.

🏔️ The Three Sacred Mountains

When entering the park, the most spectacular sight was the sight of The three sacred snow mountains are:
• Mount Chenrezig (Xiannairi – Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara)
• Mount Jambeyang (Yangmaiyong – Bodhisattva Manchusri)
• Mount Chanadorje (Xianuoduoji – Bodhisattva Vajrasattva)

These three stand majestically against the sky and clouds, and even from afar, they give me goosebumps.

💎 Crystal Blue Lakes

One of my most memorable moments was reaching Milk Lake and Five-Color Lake. The water was so clear it reflected the surrounding mountains. The changing hues of blue and green with the sunlight made me feel like I was in a fantasy world.

🌾 Luorong Pasture

Along the way, there was also Luorong Pasture, surrounded by snow-capped mountains. I walked slowly, listening to the wind and the flowing water from the glacier. This tranquility is a special gift from Yading.
