I'm giving up on Xiamen! This place is too amazing

Dongshan Island is truly an awesome place! Located in Zhangzhou, Fujian, it's a beautiful island with blue waters and fine sandy beaches that you'll fall in love with instantly! 🏖️

Must-visit spots:

1. Nanmen Bay: The sea view there is absolutely gorgeous, with houses built on the hillside in vibrant colors, creating a very romantic atmosphere.

2. Wind-moving Stone: A huge rock suspended on the cliff edge that looks like it could move with a gust of wind - super thrilling!

3. Sufeng Mountain: Ride an electric scooter along the mountain road and enjoy beautiful scenery all the way - extremely relaxing.

4. Jinluan Bay: The beach is huge with fine sand, and watching the sunrise here is absolutely amazing!

5. Maluan Bay: A great place for water activities, very crowded and lively in summer.

6. Fish Bone Sandbar: Only appears during low tide, shaped like fish bones. Walking on it feels like strolling in the middle of the sea.

7. Aojiao Village: The lighthouse and coastline there are particularly beautiful - perfect for photos.

8. Observatory: Excellent for stargazing and watching the sunrise, and it's very quiet at night.

Food recommendations:

🍲 Chen's Meatballs: The meatballs are especially bouncy and the soup is delicious.

🍜 Zhongyi Oyster Omelet: Crispy on the outside and tender inside, with amazing texture.

🦀 Xiao Xi Fu Sweet Soup: Loaded with ingredients and tasty - especially refreshing in summer.

🍢 Street BBQ: The seafood barbecue is particularly fresh and authentic.

Transportation:

🚗 You can drive there yourself. Transportation on the island is convenient - rent an electric scooter to get around.

🚌 You can also take the bus, though you might have to wait a while.

Accommodation:

🏨 There are many hotels and guesthouses on the island. You can choose according to your preference. The guesthouse where I stayed had a very enthusiastic owner and a nice environment.

Tips:

🌞 If you go in summer, make sure to protect yourself from the sun, or you'll easily get sunburned.

📷 For photos, it's best to go in the morning or evening when the light is beautiful.

🛵 When renting an electric scooter, be sure to check its condition first - safety comes first.
