Screaming at the Foot of Mount Fuji: Fuji-Q Highland's Roller Coaster, Ninja Village, and Fear Hospital Tour

A trip to Fuji-Q Highland was a feast of adrenaline and breathtaking scenery. Upon entering, I was struck by the breathtaking scenery: uniquely shaped roller coaster tracks crisscrossed beneath the blue sky, with the majestic Mount Fuji towering behind them. Enjoying the thrill of a high-speed plunge while gazing at the beauty of Japan's sacred mountain is a truly unique experience at Fuji-Q Highland.

The park boasts not only thrilling rides but also numerous unique areas steeped in Japanese anime culture. I particularly visited the "Naruto×Boruto Fuji Konoha Ninja Village," themed after the Naruto film. There, a giant statue of Gamabunta stands on Naruto's head, flanked by blooming cherry blossoms (though decorative, they still made for stunning photos), making me feel like I've stepped into the world of anime. I also posed for a photo with Haruno Sakura's standee, embodying the joy of being a ninja.

Beyond the vibrant anime-themed areas, I also discovered other charming corners steeped in Japanese charm. The entrance to "Gegege no Yokai Yokocho," for example, features statues of Gegege no Kitaro and Obi-Wan, creating a fantastical atmosphere. Of course, as a renowned horror theme park, the eerie exterior of "Jiji General Hospital" is also a must-see. Its eerie, dilapidated facade sends a chill through the air just standing there.

Besides the thrilling roller coasters, the park also offers more soothing attractions, like the glittering Maneki Neko water ride and the towering carousel, offering panoramic views of the entire park. On sunny afternoons, many visitors relax on the grass or take photos in the various themed areas, creating a joyful atmosphere throughout the park.

This trip to Fuji-Q Highland not only satisfied my roller coaster cravings but also immersed me in the rich anime culture. I was even more fortunate to have clear weather, allowing me to enjoy the unique interweaving of Mount Fuji and the park. It was a perfect blend of thrills, fun, and beautiful scenery.
