Gangneung Ocean View Cost-effective Accommodation ‘Saint John’s Hotel’

Hello. As summer approaches, there must be many people traveling to Gangwon-do. I will write a review of the ocean view hotel ‘Saint John’s Hotel’ that offers good value for money in Gangneung.

Saint John’s Hotel is located on Gangneung’s Gangmun Beach. I went there on a backpacker trip, and since it is not in a remote area, it was easy to access.

As the exterior looks grand, there are many rooms that can accommodate people. So, unless it is peak season, the price doesn’t feel too expensive.

There are also rooms for those traveling with pets,
and it is located 3 minutes from Gangmun Beach, so it is a good place to go out to see the ocean in the morning and evening.

Saint John’s Hotel has a total of 3 towers. Ocean Tower is a tower with a front view of the ocean, while Lake Tower is a tower with a side view of the ocean, not a front view. And Pine Tower has food. There is a convenience store, a chicken restaurant, an arcade, etc.

When you are assigned a room, the staff will tell you the elevator location for your tower, so it would be good to remember it and use it.

The room I booked was a 'Gorgeous Partial Ocean Twin Room', so it did not have a front view of the ocean, but it was a better view because you could see the ocean and the mountains at a glance. The room is spacious and comfortable, so it is a good place to stay.
