Hoi An Old Town is the kind of place that changes its personality with the sun 🌞 and the moon 🌙.

I spent the afternoon strolling along the Thu Bồn River, browsing tailor shops and enjoying strong Vietnamese iced coffee. You’ll keep spotting lanterns everywhere, even during the day – it gives the whole town a storybook vibe.

🌃 But it’s at night that Hoi An truly transforms. The entire old town comes alive with glowing lanterns in every shape and color, reflecting off the water and lining every street. The night market is buzzing with food stalls, souvenirs, and lantern shops – I even tried making my own lantern! 🎏

📍 Tip: Wear comfy shoes for walking, and if the heat gets too much during the day, pop into one of the many riverside cafes to cool off with a coconut or cold brew.
