Udo Day Trip

Udo is a small island in Jeju, South Korea. It takes only 15 minutes by ferry from Jeju to get there.
Upon arrival, you can choose to take a free sightseeing bus (with only 4 stops), rent a bicycle, or an electric scooter (a driver's license is required).
The wind was strong and it was a bit rainy that day, so we rented an electric scooter (₩35,000) and rode along the coast. 🛵
We went to the famous Bongwon on Udo to eat stir-fried black pork and the famous Hallasan fried rice. The staff introduced us to the history of Jeju and the origin of Udo while preparing the fried rice for us.
Afterwards, we found a cafe and ordered the most famous Udo peanut ice cream. The peanut flavor was rich, and it's no wonder so many people came despite the cold weather. 😋
Udo is very small, and it takes about two hours to circle the entire island by electric scooter. If it were summer, we could have walked along the beach and taken photos. 🥹
