Kashgar Old City is divided into east and west districts. The east district is more commercial and lively, while the west district has a strong cultural atmosphere, suitable for strolling around~
Day 1:
West District: Id Kah Mosque → Century-old Teahouse → Youpai Street → Rainbow Alley → Cloth Bag Alley → Grandpa's Grandpa's Dad's Nang → Oil Painting Street
East District: Khan Bazaar → Mamat's Old House → Ironwork Commune → Sky Garden → Guli's Home → Flower Pot Bazaar → Geng Gong Shrine → Kunlun Tower internet-famous photo spot [Check-in Guide]
Id Kah Mosque: CNY 30/person, one of the largest mosques in Xinjiang, a representative of Islamic architecture, not to be missed. Century-old Teahouse: Drink ancient tea and listen to the century-old Qin music. When you are tired of walking, order a pot of tea, drink tea while listening to singing and watching dancing, leisurely and comfortable~
Youpai Street: The entrance is opposite the teahouse, Rainbow Alley and Cloth Bag Alley are both on this street.
Rainbow Alley: An internet-famous check-in spot, perfect for taking photos.
Cloth Bag Alley: Opposite Rainbow Alley, full of ethnic-style cloth bags.
Grandpa's Grandpa's Dad's Nang: The nang here is bigger than your face, with various flavors, crispy and fragrant.
Oil Painting Street: Near the Century-old Teahouse, with art galleries and artistic guesthouses, creating a great atmosphere.
Khan Bazaar: A Xinjiang-style food street, full of roasted buns, pilaf, meat in a pot, and other delicacies, with aromas filling the air.
Mamat's Old House: CNY 30/person, a 300-year-old Kashgar house, with scattered rooms featuring Uyghur characteristics.
Ironwork Commune: On Areya Road, you can visit it along the way. Sky Garden: A building like a music box, navigate to "Silk Road Jade".
Guli's Home: Enjoy authentic Xinjiang singing and dancing, CNY 30/person, melodious singing, passionate dancing, and a fantastic atmosphere. Flower Pot Bazaar: Turn left at the east gate, various pottery and vases are displayed on the steps, and you can experience pottery making.
Geng Gong Shrine: In the northeast corner of the Old City, built to commemorate Geng Gong, a famous general of the Eastern Han Dynasty.
Kunlun Tower internet-famous photo spot: Outside the northeast gate of the Old City, navigate to "Nashiman Minsu", walk along the rainbow stairs to the top.
Day 2:
City Opening Ceremony: Two performances daily at the east gate of the Old City.
10:30/18:00, the performance lasts about 10 minutes, experience the welcoming ceremony of the thousand-year-old city.
Old City Residential Houses: Where generations of Uyghur people have lived, with ancient houses scattered, narrow alleys, and characteristic shops, perfect for taking photos. Xiangfei Garden: CNY 30, an exquisite and magnificent ancient Islamic mausoleum, rich in ethnic characteristics, showcasing the legendary life of Xiangfei.
Bar Street: Turn right at the east gate of the Old City, lively at night, listen to music, enjoy the breeze, and have a drink, very pleasant~
