Indispensable Day Trip to Kitakyushu.

Transportation: Sonic Nichirin
Travel Time: About 40 minutes
Alight at: Kokura Station

Kitakyushu is famous for its Yaki Udon, so I quickly went to have some Yaki Udon and tour the area!

I also took a look around the nearby streets and markets, passed by Kokura Castle, and went straight to see the Kanmon Straits!

Tourism: Kokura Castle and Garden
Ticket: 560 yen (about 5000 KRW)

This place, Mojiko, is famous for Mojiko Retro.
Right across the sea is a name familiar to us, Shimonoseki!
It's a region famous for the Treaty of Shimonoseki.

Transportation: Kagoshima Main Line
Nishikokura-Mojiko Station
Travel Time: About 20 minutes
Cost: 280 yen

While here, I also saw the drawbridge, known as Blue Wing Mojiko, go up.

The bridge goes up on the hour.
It usually starts to rise at the hour and goes up and down for 20 minutes.
And before the bridge goes up, an announcement is made.
