[A fantastic herb garden on a rainy day] Kobe Nunobiki Herb Garden

Kobe's Nunobiki Herb Garden resembles the pages of a fragrant book floating between the valley and the city. As you ascend the mountainside via an aerial cable car, the city gradually shrinks, while within the forest, approximately twelve themed gardens unfold, including the Welcome Garden, the Fragrance Garden, and the Rose Symphony Garden. These gardens, encompassing approximately 75,000 plants and 200 varieties of herbs, transform with the seasons, creating a gentle interplay of light, shadow, and fragrance.
I was captivated by the castle-like Welcome Garden restaurant. It's more than just an architectural icon; it serves as a bridge between culture and nature. Nestled within the mountains, its German-style castle silhouette houses a collection of herbal cuisine and fragrances, allowing visitors to unravel a transnational story of herbal aesthetics through flavor and scent.
More than just a botanical garden, you can stroll through the garden's paths, taking in the aromas, like a Mediterranean afternoon stroll; or, within the glass pavilion, experience the whispers of tropical plants and saffron vines. This is more than just a botanical garden for viewing; it's an emotional dialogue between "city fatigue and the healing power of greenery." Standing on the observation deck and overlooking Kobe, you can not only enjoy the scenery, but also witness how nature and prosperity coexist and rewrite the soul of the city with fragrance.
